It's too bad no one asked him why he populated his campaign staff with the ex-McEwen losers.

Heimlich's campaign is being run by the Taliban wing of the GOP.

They hate schools, they hate women, and they hate anyone who doesn't toe the line.

Hatred doesn't win elections. Just look at the successful campaigns JeanSchmidt has won depsite all the vile hatred spewed by the Preverbal Primordial Pachyderms who are now ruining Heimlich's campaign.

Phil, side stepped the three centurions question though to Carl's credit he did go back to it once. He should have made him answer it though, and did fail. That question was sent by a lot of people before hand.

You asked the Character Cities question incorrectly. You were sent a question like this:

1. Please ask Commissioner Heimlich if he has ever received any payments or gifts from the Character Cities organization or its affiliates. If so, please ask him how much he’s been paid and when was the most recent payment.

Instead, you asked:

Have you ever received any payments or gifts from the Character Cities organization?

Heimlich answered:

My only reimbursement from the national character cities program was for my flight to Oklahoma City last year when I was the keynote speaker at their national meeting.

We did not want to know what he got from the "national character cities program." We wanted to know about the IACC or ANY of its affiliates.

The question still has not been completely resolved.

It's amazing to watch Phil Heimlich lie through his teeth. Pepper was very clear at the debate--he would not vote for Freedom Center funding because of his dad's involvement, making it a clear conflict of interest. The Enquirer editorial page made this clear as well. Yet Phil still says Pepper "didn't answer the question." Ridiculous.
