Report from the scene of the debate

Lori Kurtzman reports:

Outside the Patricia Corbett theater, the chickens are there. And a marching band.

But there are no Strickland supporters in the area reserved for supporters and protesters. The Blackwell area, on the other hand, has "a ton of people."

They're wearing construction hard hats, and yellow T-shirts reading, "Ken Blackwell has concrete solutions for Ohio."

There were thousands of "Strickland" supporters in a well coordinated middle-class family initiative where the big screen displayed the debate and "Strickland" addressed the local Cincinnati get together to a roaring crowd !

The wRong wingnuts pretend to be for the middle-class while sporting imitation hard hats, but, "Strickland" is uniting the citizens for the good of OHIO !

The "Strickland" event was amazing. The hard hat protesters have a long way to go before they get their union card.

There were plenty of Strickland supporters around Corryville and the UC campus. They simply chose to stand on street corners and near the entrance to the theater rather than in a cattle pen as designated.
