Winburn to lead local Blackwell campaign

From the Blackwell campaign:

BLACKWELL NAMES HAMILTON COUNTY CAMPAIGN LEADERSHIP

COLUMBUS - Gubernatorial candidate Ken Blackwell announced today that former Cincinnati City Councilman Charlie Winburn will lead his Hamilton County campaign leadership.

"Ken Blackwell is offering a bold agenda to rebuild Ohio and create jobs. I am honored to lead his campaign here in Hamilton County," said Winburn. "Ken is one of the finest sons of Cincinnati and has made our city and county proud."

"Charlie is a tremendous campaigner and well respected for his leadership. I am pleased to have him leading my campaign in Hamilton County," said Blackwell.

Winburn served seven years on Cincinnati City Council and is a commissioner on the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.

In addition to Winburn, Blackwell named Hamilton County Republican Chairman George Vincent, Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters and community activist David Miller as Hamilton County Blackwell Campaign Co-Chairs.

...and community activist David Miller

Why didn't Carl Weezer properly identify David Miller as the VP of Citizens for Community Values and the point man in the recent signature fraud. CCV is toxic and some people don't want to publicly embrace the group.

Same way that these days most Ohio Republicans want to run like hell from Ken Blackwell, he of the capsizing campaign with the 25 point gap.

Go ahead Weezer, call David Miller a "community activist." But we're all on to the Enquirer's game of peek-a-boo, repeatedly failing to state the affiliations of Republicans.

One political opportunist will be shilling for another political opportunist. How about that. They both change their stripes and party affiliations whenever it is needed in order to get elected. Windbag is a loser who has blown every election he has touched for years now. This is good news for Ohio because it's another nail in Blackwell's coffin.

Perhaps the citizens of Cincinnati should sit down and watch the documentary American Blackout. It is an awarding winning film that portrays the disenfranchisement of African American voters at the hands of the GOP during the last couple elections, including J Kenneth Blackwell's role.

Anon 2:26, look at it another way. They used the same term to describe David Miller as they did Kabaka Oba.

I don't think of it as favorable coverage when one is compared to Kabaka Oba by the Enquirer. Maybe you do, but most of us here on Planet Earth don't see it that way.

Where's Uncle Carl & Weasel Weiland? Aren't they getting an active cut in the action? What's their titles in this campaign other than moneybags & opportunist?

David Miller IS PAID BY CHABOT FOR CONGRESS. Just check Chabot's campaign reports and you will see disbursements for CCV.

Democrats in Hamilton County have been looking for a way to beat Taftwell in his backyard. It's important with a candidate like Taftwell not only to beat them, but to humiliate them so they never again think of running for public office. And here, like a gift from the heavens, the republicans give us Chuck Windbag to kick around. Just when we thought winning this election couldn't be any easier, we get this washed up old hack to fuck it up for Taftwell. Beautiful.
