Davis: "I stand by the Israelis."
Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Geoff Davis issued the following statement about the recent attacks on Israel:
"The recent attacks and senseless kidnapping of Israeli soldiers were despicable acts of terrorism by Hizballah, a terrorist organization functioning in Lebanon. These acts, and Hizballah's continued determination to destroy Israel, have undermined Middle East peace efforts.
"Israel has proven an important asset to combating terrorism in the region and remains a strong ally of the United States. I stand by the Israelis and our nation's diplomats in calling for the safe return of the Israeli soldiers and in calling for the end of support to Hizballah by the governments of Iran and Syria."

Hi'el' !
Hola Carlos,
I can't figure out which part of this stenography is a "scoop." Isn't that what this "blog" is supposed to be? Clarify, por favor.
Muchos gracias, amigo!
Juan
This blog is utilized to rubber stamp wRong wing wacko press release !!
It is utilized to suppress freedom and stifle open dialogue !!
The fishwrap blog is so deep in elephant dung that they can't get the stench off. So, they just spread it everywhere they can !!
Stinks doesn't it !!
Most US Newspapers, including even the New York Times, are slanted toward the Israelis.
To get a different view of things, I like to include in my daily reading the London-based Financial Times, which truly does give an international perspective.
In DC, you can purchase the Financial Times through street vending-machines; most other places the circulation is limited.
It's unfortunate because it looks like most Members of Congress exclusively rely on US-based publications.
"I think the people elected Hizballah's as their leader !"
NO you idiot hizballah(or as most of us would recognize it Hezbollah) is not elected to anything in lebanon. They are a terrorist organization that has safe harbor in lebanon.
Perhaps you are confusing hezbollah and hamas and lebanon and palestine.
other than that you are right on dumbass
Thanks, Geoff. I'm thrilled leaders like yourself speaking out in support of Isreal!
