Bush most unpopular prez ever: Ohio Poll

See the new Ohio Poll here:

Howard Wilkinson reports:

President Bush’s approval rating of 35 percent among Ohioans is the lowest of his presidency – and the lowest for any president in the 25-year history of the University of Cincinnati’s Ohio Poll.

The Ohio Poll, released Friday by UC’s Institute for Policy Research also showed that lame-duck Ohio Gov. Bob Taft’s job approval rating continues to plummet – only 26 percent approve of him in this most recent poll.

The president’s falling job approval rating in Ohio mirrors his performance in national polls. Since the last Ohio Poll measuring presidential job approval in April 2005, President Bush’s rating has dropped 14 percentage points.

Just what I expected! I HATE GEORGE BUSH WITH A PASSION! I hope when democrats take over Congress, they make GWB's life miserable and make a move to impeach him! George W Bush is the worst president this country has ever had and I will celebrate when he is gone!

Oh NO!!! I guess George Bush can never run for Prez again now!!
Whatever will we do???

What a crock..Polls are for Dimwits. Wilkinson is a dim hack.
Coincedence? I think not.

No internals on this poll (again) Polls over sample dims and "independents" *wink* *wink* (Actually more dims ins indie clothing) and under sample Conservatives all the time.

This is nothing new or unexpected by the drive by media.

Conservatives do our talking on election day, and 2006 will be no different.

Gee, I wonder what ever happened when those election polls said Kerry would win by a landslide?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Hey Charlie Brown. Want to kick the football? I swear I won't pull it away this time!!! ;)

Look at the crosstabs, numbskull. Conservatives are the only ones still divided over the Divider and supporting criminals, goons, tramps and thieves. (The same conservatives who rigged and locked down polling places in Clermont and Warren counties so the exit polls made no sense.) Coincidence? Where are the feds when Ohioans need 'em? On border patrol and airport duty. They're certainly not on Osama or Tom O'Noey's heels.

25 year history of the poll....

Hmmm. That would cover how many presidents? 4 or 5 at the most (including two of the most popular).

Really seems like this deserves the headline: "Most unpopular prez ever"

It never ends. Democrats are wastes of space/time.

The people in this arguement are like the people in the special olympics. No matter what happens, you are still a loser.

Bush is an illegitimate prez!
Jeb and Katherine Harris stole it in 2000 and Uncle Ken Blackwell stole it in Ohio 2004. This has been covered by the BBC, Congressman John Conyers report "What went wrong in Ohio" and in international election observer Bob Fitrakis' report.

He lied us into war, supports torture, spying on US citizens and failed us on 9/11 and Katrina, of course he's the most unpopular prez.

"The people in this arguement are like the people in the special olympics. No matter what happens, you are still a loser." I know this is just a blog but this post has to be the most classless and just plain asinine post I have ever read. To poke fun and call people that are challenged in life with physical or mental problems that have the guts to go out and participate in the special olympics, losers is truly hateful.
If you truly feel that way I hope you rot in hell some day. About the poll - the real losers are the 50%+ of the American Public that reelected W in 2004 and did not hold him accountable for incredibly poor judgements / decisions. W will continue to exercise this poor judgement when he speaks about the Constitutional Amendment to ban gay marriage that may not even get 50 votes in the Senate! How about following through with your proclamations that legislation should get an up and down vote - try that with stem cell research. Why no Senate vote this year? Best bumper sticker I saw lately: Cheney & Satan - 2008!!

Notice how the pro-Bush posters have nothing positive to say about the president? They simply attack his critics.

I'm waiting to hear about all the good work George Bush has done. I invite his supporters to tout his achievements.

Today's Detroit Free Press:

The war in Iraq has become so unpopular that it could cost Republicans control of Congress, statehouses and governor races around the country, national pollster John Zogby said Friday. He said 70% of voters believe the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction, adding, “I have never seen a number like that since I’ve been polling.”

You idiots complaining about oversampling Democrats fail to realize that people do change their party identification. There are plenty of former independent/republicans out there that are identifying themselves now as true independents, or Democrats. These polls don't go through party registries. The numbers are random based on location, economic circumstances, etc. The reason they couldn't sample many republicans is that Bush, Taft, Delay, and Chabot have driven them from the GOP. Any reasonable person realizes that all that small government crap was really just a front to push a corporate agenda, and force their way into our bedrooms. Even republicans are starting to realize it now, though.

11:15 Anonymous. Talk about disingenous.

You don't get it at all, but it's not YOUR fault! Really! At least that is what the dim party has been telling you all these years.

It's not your fault if you're black and un-educated. It's the white mans fault you can't compete!!

Get a life loser. Keep giving your vote to dims and watch things really change!

Stupid, stupid people. The dims count on you without even giving you a reach around.

You are still slaves and you don't even know it.

All I have to say to you is "Baaaa....Baaaa"

Daniel J. Mount is a right wing fundamentalist wacko and a member of the American Christian Taliban, a group dedicated to dictating how all of us live, what we watch, listen to and do in the privacy of our bedrooms. Ignore anything he has to say.

This has got to be the worst blog of all.. Responses suck big time. What a waste of time. I will no longer be reading this crap. And to those of you who will respond with whines and bitches...save it for someone else. At least other blogs have decent posts, and for the most part good responses.

Makes sense to me...while managed by a third party, it is indicative of the Enquirer. Pure nastiness and one-sided reporting.
