Another poll, another Strickland lead
From the Strickland campaign...
Columbus, Ohio - Ohio gubernatorial candidate Congressman Ted Strickland holds a thirteen-point lead over Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, according to a new independent Rasmussen Reports poll released today.
The new survey's results showing Strickland with a thirteen-point lead over Blackwell, 50% to 37%, are consistent with other recent polls.

Polls don't matter when you have a thief like J Kenneth Blackwell in charge of counting the votes. He stole the 2004 election in Ohio. The exit polls have never been so far off the margin of error.
This has been well documented by real reporters like Greg Palast at the BBC and Bob Fitrakis at the Free Press. RFK jr. wrote about it in Rolling Stone and Congressman John Conyers launched an investigation that has documented the unprecedented disenfranchisement of voters in Ohio.
Blackwell hasn't done his duty to account for any of it and either has the Enquirer.
Private partisan companies that Blackwell has invested in and recieved contributions from, should not be trusted to count our votes. We need full transparency in order to restore the integrity of our elections.
Ken Blackwell is a traitor to his race and country.
geno•cide \"je-ne-'sid\ n : the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group
In Sundays paper Blackwell was quoted out of his book that abortion for blacks was similar to black genocide. That did it for me! It showed me clearly that this guy is way out there on the fringes. I am not necessarily a big fan of abortion but to equate black abortion rates with genocide is plain STUPID!! To my knowledge no one forces anyone to have an abortion. Blackwell is a certified nut case. And don't get cocky with these polls. It is very early and much can change.
Another example of how the wRong wing fishwrap fails to report the whole story !
Where is the reader information about Strickland coming to Cincinnati in NorthSide where thousands of supporters showed up for a "Turn Around Ohio Rally" ?
Maybe, Pepper was right that the wRong wing nuts act like they've never heard of NorthSide ?
Thousands of people cheered as Stricland spoke directly to the camera and told the public the real scoop on the buckwheat blackwell !
Could it be the fishwrap doesn't want the public to know that independants and republicans were all out in support of Strickland ?
Face it, the wRong wing rag can't whitewash buckwheat buckwell by suppressing the positive news about Strickland in this county !
Seeing thousands of people cheering Strickland in Hamilton County was amazing.

That the Sunday Enquirer gave front page, top half coverage to a reprint of Blackwell's book speaks volumes about how low the Enquirer has sunk as a newspaper. Yes, I remember when the Enquirer was considered top-notch - years ago. I read it now to keep up on the obituaries. No wonder readership is down. - One couldn't expect a well-educated public, with so many choices available online and elsewhere, to subscribe.
Yep, front page for Kenny but the Strickland rally coverage was buried on pg. 3 of Local, and written by a reporter who isn't even on the political beat.
We had a good turnout for the rally but it wasn't thousands, you twit-more like 200.
Carl, could you have found a more unflattering pic of Strickland than this one? Oh well since you look like the Pillsbury dough boy in your blog pic i guess you don't pay attention to whether a photo looks good.
Carl Weiser, you claimed in Editor & Publisher that you asked people who know about elections in Ohio and they said "there was no conspiracy". At the Cincinnati Beacon, Rolling Stone, The Free Press, the BBC and Democracy Now there has been a lot of evidence that there was in fact a conspiracy to disenfranchise an unprecedented number of voters.
Congressman John Conyers launched an investigation and found all kinds of "anomolies" that Ken Blackwell has refused to do his duty to account for.
Blackwell has even had the nerve to hold stock in and recieve large campaign contribututions from a private partisan company called DIEBOLD, which is supposed to count the votes.
You need to tell us who the people that "know about elections" are, or you will be looking for a job real soon!
Someone doesn't know schmidt !
There were thousands at the event I was at.
You must not have been at the live video broadcast of the event.
The stadium was packed !
Jason Haap, please identify yourself in your comments. The Cincinnati Beacon is not, nor will it ever be, in the same category as Rolling Stone, The Free Press and the BBC.
I strongly object to your use in the blog of a photo of our next Governor, Rep. Ted Strickland, which in NOT representative of his character or personality. Shame!
Why is the current SoS always shown "smiley-face"
and often carrying a religious tract? Because the Enquirer's policy is NOT to be objective in its political "journalism!" Why don't you just stay home and copy-and-paste the daily talking points invented by the RNC, Rove, Norquist and the Swift Boat ad agency? Are you on speakerphone from the Wednesday lunch attack session at Grover's? Your biased stance - highlighted by your recent comments to "Editor&Publisher" - is far too transparent; you seem to be just another flack for the corporate reich-wing.
In Cincinnati it is the beacon providing the light to expose the wRong wing nuts.
Don't minimize the efforts unless you are providing better !
Which you are not !
Your enlightenment is rethoric aimed to discredit a doer while you are a talker !
Clearly you don't know schmidt !
Yes, many were unaware of the fund raiser where the live feed was received.
There were thousands there.
Why don't you just stay home and copy-and-paste the daily talking points invented by the RNC, Rove, Norquist and the Swift Boat ad agency?
This is exactly what the stenographers do at the fishwrap !
How do you spell the unbias reporter claims at the fishwrap ?
HYPOCRITE !
