Read the Abramoff indictment

Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal charges related to gifts - a trip to Scotland, campaign contributions and free meals - provided to Ohio Rep. Bob Ney in exchange for official favors.

Steve Chabot and his ethically challenged friends like Tom Delay must be very worried about Abramoff agreeing to help federal prosecutors identify corrupt members Congress. Chabot took money from Abramoff and then did Abramoff's bidding by urging Bush to reject a Louisiana Indian casino for a rival of Abramoff's client. Here is AP an AP article on the subject.
