Jon Craig has the story here

4 people lose their jobs, and a 28-year-old's career and reputation are ruined, all to satisfy some sexually dysfunctional right-wing nutjobs.
Get your jollies here, wingnuts:

things just never change...cronies...the newbie candidate storms into off and has as their mantra..I am gonna clean up this office...it is obvious that nothing would have happened if not for the print media reporters and constant follow ups on this. It took an outside entity to "disapprove" of this behavior.
How often does the average worker go to their out of town boss' condo in their"sweats," imbibes, lays down in another room?
What will happen when he runs for re election?
Is this "Sweatsgate?"
Dann says he won't resign. So much for ethics! Had enough vote for anyone but a democrat.
I just watched his press conference. I sure hope his "cronies" don't let him get away with all those lies!
Even after all that he has gone through Dann still does not get it.
Take responsibility and resign for the good of the State of Ohio. It's not about you!
How is this a republicans fault? Dann is not a republican, its his office, and he is in charge of it! any failings of his office rest squarely on his shoulders! I don't understand how he can honestly say he doesn't need to resign, and that these are purely personal matters. Clearly he has failed in his position as Attorney General and he should resign or be kicked out of office. The office of attorney general is to uphold the law not disrespect it!
(Dann's left-wing idiot)
I don't know what is sadder, Dann's actions or the Enquirer's inability to cover the story. This is dominating every newspaper and every newspaper's website accross the state. Does the Enquirer even have a Columbus reporter?
Dems knew Dann was corrupt from the start... If they had any brains, they'd put Pepper in his place.
As usual, in an article like this, if it's something bad and he's a Democrat they don't mention party affiliation. If it's a Republican, it's in the headline. Either way, just let us know!
When will the Enquirer report that Steve Driehaus had Marc Dann in for a fundraiser for his congressional campaign?
Seems to me that Driehaus has tied himself to some corrupt campaign cash...
And Steve Chabot took money from Mark Foley. At least Dann was with a woman, and one who was of age, unlike Chabot's pedophile colleagues.
Marc Dann should continue to follow in the foot steps of his idol - Elliot Spitzer - and resign
It's Bush's fault. All of it.
To all the smug Democrats out there who get their jollies trashing the Republican party: ALL politicians are corrupt. People don't get into politics to make this a better town, city, county, state, country (take your pick), they get into it for money and power. Regardless of affiliation, they are concerned only with themselves, and not any of us.
So next time you want to sit there and point out how terrible the Republicans are, look first to your own party leaders to see what a bang-up job they're doing. As Dann has proven, you may be surprised at what you find.
When will Steve Chabot denounce Newt Gingrich...of that's right he's a fine Republican(having an affair while his wife is pregnant). He'll take $$$$$$$$ from any corrupt Repub out there. Look in the mirror - Chabot has plenty of corrupt "friends" all the way to the top with the commander in chief - he has blood on his hands. His "nice guy" image has worn thin.
It's refreshing to see a man and a woman have an affair. If this was a Repugnicant, he would have had an affair with a little boy or a farm animal.
Marc Dann should stay in office for as long as Foot-Tapper Larry Craig and Diaper Dave Vitter remain in power.
At least Dann doesn't go around pretending to be some sort of moral exemplar of virtue, like Craig, Vitter, and so many other Repugnicants do.
The Repugnicant motto: do as we say, not as we do.
Marc Dann should use this as payback time.
Go after the corrupt Repugs in Butler County (Dynus)
Go after the corrupt Repugs in Clermont County (Walker)
Go after all the moralizing reporters, like none of them have ever banged a subordinate.
Go after the corrupt Repugs in Warren County
Go after the corrupt Repugs from Ashtabula to Zanesville, from Archbold to Ironton, and everywhere in between.
Hoist them on their own moralizing petards.
Go after the corporations, the price-gouging oil companies.
Show everyone what a fighter you are, Marc. This is why we elected you. Remind everyone what sort of corrupt morass you inherited after 16 years of Repugnicants plundering the state government and Treasury.
YOU are the reason Tom Noe is in jail and not wining and dining Governor Blackwell tonight.
YOU are the reason AOL and Time Warner aren't ripping the public off anymore.
YOU are the reason our state retirement system is much closer to solvency than it was when Tom Noe and other corrupt Repugs were buying coins and Beanie Babies with public retirement funds.
You've got some top-notch people at your disposal. Now is the time to put an end to all this moralistic snooping into your personal life and go on offense.
Show the guts, the heart, and the spine you showed in the Senate, and you'll get 70% of the vote next time.
It's time to not just defeat the Repugs at the ballot box, but also in the Courthouse.
Every single person in Ohio who chooses to affiliate themselves with the Criminal Enterprise Formerly Known As The Republican Party bears some degree of knowledge of, or responsibility for, their damaging policies and their criminal practices in office.
It's time to shut them down.
You haven't broken any laws, Mr. Dann, but a truckload of Repugnicants from one end of this state to the other have.
Investigate, indict, imprision. That's your job. Your job is not to answer questions from sex-starved moralists getting their jollies off asking you about your personal life.
All of this mean-spirited name calling like "repugnant" really turns independent voters like me off. I voted R in 04, D in 06...looks like it will be R again in 08.
4:04,
Give us all a break. Voters vote based on things like the illegal war in Iraq, the record-high gas prices, plunging value of the dollar, health care, etc.
They don't vote based on anonymous blog comments. Nice try, you're just another Repugnicant who no longer wants to be associated with that criminal enterprise.
Really, just break away, send XXXAlex your cut-up GOP membership card, wipe your behind with their loyalty oath, and flush it down the Larry Craig model toilet or stick it in the trash with your kid's David Vitter model diaper.
You'll feel much better.
Newt did have an affair and he was wrong to do it. However, Dann is the state's chief law enforcement officer and he may have violated the laws he's sworn to protect and allowed his employees to do so and then covered up for them.
When Dann started sleeping with his scheduler, he became unable to rein in Gut's behavior and set a "anything goes" tone for them. That alone should cause him to step down.
Had enough??? Vote Republican 2008!
...DEPRAVED DEMOCRATS...
What else is new?!
Talking about double standards. No one ever bothered to report about Blackwell's girlfriend at his Columbus-area condo!
Or A.G. Montgomery shacking up at the ex-House speaker's Reynoldsburg home.
Get Dann out now before Ohio hands the November election to McBush.
Who cares what Ted Srickland thinks? He stood silent and idle until Dann admitted to an extramarital affair and realized it's now gonna take down his gal Hillary or Barack in November and the rest of the Dims 2010. Wake up Ohio!!!!!
Typical hound dog.
Anyone notice the mistress looks like a younger version of the wife, minus the brains?

Another 'follower' lacking ideas of their own while invoking that schmidt'y plagiarism !
Same ole, same ole, 'culture of corruption', XXX judge Tryintofoolyou !
PATHETIC 'family values' !
HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !
yeah...it's best that staffers take the fall and a young woman's reputation be trashed for the sake of Dann the DEM...Ohio's version of Bill Clinton...amazing what you DEMS rally around and then smear Reps for pointing it out...pathetic indeed.
I have to laugh at the maturity level of the bloggers who insist on using grade-school nicknames and made up words like "repubnicant". How proud your mothers must be of your creativity.
What's even funnier is the way they try to deflect blame for Dann's actions onto others. Typical and sad, all in one hilarious package. You all must be real laughers at parties.
I have to laugh at the maturity level of the bloggers who insist on using grade-school nicknames and made up words like "democRAT" and "demoncrat". How proud your mothers must be of your creativity.
What's even funnier is the way they try to focus on Dann's actions when so many in your party have been convicted of sex offences. Typical and sad, all in one hilarious package. You all must be real laughers at parties.
Over a half-dozen more corrupt rethuglicans have been arrested in the past two weeks, on charges in cluding child porn. See all of the latest updates here:

Marc Dann is a Democrat.
Typical Democrats. Deflect, deflect, deflect.
Typical democRAT immoral behavior!
The RATS are the party of Barney "Male Brothel" Frank, Gary "Monkey Business" Hart, NJ Governor James "I am a gay American" McGreevey, NY Governor Eliot "Client No. 9" Spitzer, and B.J. Clinton, after all!
