He's being honored for including the community in the decision making process? Why did he agree to a deal that promotes voter suppression. Yes, he did write a letter saying the public is better off without a voice.

Portune's selfishness in the deal is almost unforgiveable. Can anyone post the letter he wrote?

Todd did the County a great service in outting together The Deal which has shut the rethuglicans out of County government for years to come.

Thanks Todd!

What Todd really did was put a target on Pepper!!!

If Portune had his way everyone in AMOS would be in the Simon Leis Jail Complex, implemented without a vote. Fortunately we had groups like the NAACP and COAST willing to fight for the people.

AMOS must've scheduled this before Todd announced he was running unopposed and now doesn't need their stinking award to get re-elected.

Todd also got this award!:

Best Undercutting of Democracy:

Deciding that running a re-election campaign was too bothersome, Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune, a Democrat, cut a deal in January with Republican Greg Hartmann in which the two major political parties wouldn’t endorse candidates in their respective commission races, allowing the pair to essentially run unopposed. Confronted by public outrage, Portune tried to deflect criticism by stating he didn’t propose the deal. Asked by the media who crafted the plan, Portune feigned ignorance though he’d floated an earlier deal with striking similarities when he thought incumbent Commissioner Pat DeWine was going to seek re-election. Maybe Portune is spending too much time in Bob Bedinghaus’ old office.

Did you really think the NAACP would ever support a jail levy? Are you living here in Cincinnati?
Have you looked at Western Hills lately?

I just know that, as we speak, CincyCapell is lathering up for another man-crush attack on his idol, Jeff Capell. Most people come here to comment about elected officials, but CincyCapell can't get enough of an average citizen who stood up for what he believes in and was successful at it.

"CincyCapell" showed just how deep his obsessions run when he made a user name after his idol. It's the blogging equivalent of a fat, middle-aged white guy walking around in his oversized #85 Bengals jersey, truly a pathetic site to behold.

What is it, CC? It's been six months since you and yours got smoked on Issue 27. OK, so you lost big-time. However, given the alleged satisfaction you claim to have with your life, compared to the demonstrably false claims you make about Jeff's alleged life, you should at least be happy with your station in life and have more important things to do.

But, no, CC, something keeps bringing you back to the Politics Extra blog so you can pretend to be your idol Jeff Capell, all while insulting him.

I used to know a girl who acted that way towards me, but she stopped doing that around the time we started developing our permanent teeth. That was about the phase in my life where "gay" stopped being used as an insult. You, CC, paragon of open-minded diversty and tolerance that you claim to be, still say "gay" like it's a bad thing.

I also like how you think everyone calling you out for your pathetic blogging and round-the-clock obsession with Jeff Capell is ol' Jeff himself writing you back.

I am writing this myself though I wouldn't know what you or Jeff looked like. I think this is so pathetic and lame. You and Bold Endeavors both need some serious time on the couch.

Perhaps you could relieve some of this tension and volunteer in the community. I think one of your Yes On 27 buddies just got a job rehabilitating sex offenders at Volunteers of America. Why don't you give him a call?

Everyone,

Take 5 Seconds and google "CincyCapell." Then spend 5 minutes looking at the results. You'll be amazed at how far and wide she uses the name and what a rambling, incoherent loon she is not matter the topic. And she uses such unladylike language when she calls war veterans "chickenhawks" and worse.

This is why I love Portune soo much. He controls the blakc democrats but still manages to get at award by amos. He is so good.

This "award" is an election year stunt engineered by Portune.

If Portune was so concerned about inclusion on the Banks Working Group, he would've ensured it was there from the beginning, not only after AMOS, the NAACP and others began expressing their concerns.

Please go away, Mr. Todd Opportune.

My, but someone has her panties in a bunch today!

Jeff, You fatter me. Your rambling diatribes at 9:50 & 11:06 betrays how truly disturbed you are. Every time that you troll the blogoshere, I will be there mocking you Jeff. The best part is that you will never guess who I am, even though you speak to me nearly every week. I just might be in your inner circle. Your inner BCYR/COAST circle that is, not your Log Cabin circle, oh ye of the permanent 'confirmed bachelor' status.

Not that there is anything wrong with that......

Love,

CincyCapell

Hey CC, what's with this email you sent to your idol Jeff earlier this week? Are you that much of a loser?

GAY JEFF,

KEEP TRYING JEFF, AND I WILL KEEP PWNING YOU.

DO YOUR FELLOW COAST AND BLUE CHIP MEMBERS KNOW THAT YOU ARE QUEER JEFF?

THAT'S A SWEET ****BOX THAT YOU DRIVE JEFF. A 1999 BLACK MONTE CARLO. WHAT A ****ING LOW PAID POOR LOSER YOU ARE.

WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW WHO I AM? HERE'S A HINT: YOU TALKED TO ME IN PERSON WITHIN THE PAST WEEK.

ANY GUESSES?

TTFN

LOVE,

CINCYCAPELL

Are you kidding me? They've been talking about building the Banks for 13 years, and we still have nothing. How does anybody get an award for that? People should be shot over it, not rewarded.

Now Jeff Capell is playing double sock puppet. First he anonymously posts here, writing of himself in the third person, and now he is writing letters to himself! He is truly deranged and obsessed with me.

What, specifically, is any different about The Banks as a result of Portune's purported assistance with "community decision-making voice" nonsense?

Seriously: what was the concrete, tangible, result of this community's voice in the decision making process? And what/whose community?

I will be here ALL DAY, 24/7 to impersonate the President of the Blue Chip Young Republicans and badmouth them before their 7:00 meeting tonight. Anyone jealous of me?

Love,

CincyCapell
