Someone's got a crush on Wulsin?

Democrat Victoria Wulsin's communications director, Ann Herzner, just e-mailed a pretty interesting YouTube video that stars a young singer called "Wulsin Girl," playing a guitar and singing a song called "Vic Wulsin Is My Candidate."

She has catchy lyrics like: "She won't go on the House floor and say a vet's a hero no more."

And: "What you see with Vic is what you get."

And, of course: "She won't put toxic dumps in our yards. ... Cuz we don't need a stash of radioactive trash."

Watch the video HERE.

Herzner says in the e-mail touting the video: "Obama Girl....Meet Wulsin Chick."

If you don't know who "Obama Girl" is… Watch THIS and THIS.

Yup, that's right, "Obama Girl" has a CRUSH on Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, a frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for president.

So, we're not sure what kind of parallel Wulsin's campaign is trying to draw here.

Still, the video by "Wulsin Girl" sure is cute. Watch it again HERE.

Clever little add with no substance. Typical politician using 'cute' to win. Geez, that's not a page out of Obama's playbook (wink wink), how original. I hope she will bring all of her original ideas to Washington.

Ok, but the Obama girl is way hotter...

I wish our polotician would spend as much time on the issues of importance (immigration, border security, social security, medicare, etc) as they do fluff. Let's all be honest government is broken and "Wulsin" Girl is just another way to skate around the real issues.

Since nothing about Schmidt - or any of the Republican candidates for that matter - is cute...or intelligent...this little ditty is pretty good.

Didn't Herzner work on the Crowley campaign?

Seems like most of his staff people move on and find good jobs. Congrats to Ann!

WAG THE DOG!

I wouldn't be surprised if Wulsin herself helped write the lyrics.

I'm sure Wulsin herself is gleeful that this meta-coverate (a "story about a story") is at least getting her some publicity.

I've heard of Wilson: Tom Hanks' imaginary friend/volleyball in the film "Castaway."

What is Wulsin? Never heard of it. It must also be an imaginary figure.

Mean Jean Schmidt has got to go! We need to get rid of Chabot, too.

Nice video Ann. I don't necessarily agree that Vic Wulsin has the best answer for healthcare, but nonetheless, nice video. Who knows, if she wins, maybe she;'ll give me 5 minutes of her time and get to work by helping millions of people.

The Medicare clock is ticking and it is running out...

One this girl is not even a 1/1,000,000 as hot as the obama girl. And second, Phil Heimlich will beat Jean Schmidt, and then will beat Victoria Wulsin.

As far as who has a crush on Vic Wulsin, I think Malia Rulon's blog kind of answer its own question. Vic Wulsin clearly dominates Rulon's attention and stories. I'm not really sure how this video merits the story, or what Maila thinks about equal/fair coverage. Tastes like overindulgence to me.

This is great! I may even vote for Wulsin this time.

The song is actually pretty good

Dream on, liberal moonbats.

Jean Schmidt will beat the gay marriage supporter, "Dr" Wulsin, by 10+ points.

sad fact that all the people who comment on their "hate" for this song and who are obviously for jean schmidt can't spell worth a darn...maybe they should ask her to work on making the schools in southern ohio a little better. oh sorry. skools. nice job ann.

Regardless of the fact that the tune is catchy (if you like lame whiney wanna be janis joplin headcases) this is ridiculus that Ms. Rulon is "reporting" this drivel. Is she serious? Is this all it takes to get a paycheck from Gannett? I am no writer (clearly) but I can definitely tell when a reporter is lazy. This is insane to be written. Talk about Schmidt's voting record, talk about Wulsin's campaign plan or attack ads. This is nonsense.

Great, yet another person from Indian Hill who thinks she can "relate" with the common man. These Indian Hill limosine liberals are really annoying...especially the ones that are still in college.

That limousine liberal comments are ridiculous. Wulsin is from East Cleveland and is the daughter of a social worker--hardly a blue blood.

Don't think that Wulsin is some elitist just because her house (which is a dump, btw) is in Indian Hill.

Schmidt is the one worth $7 million. Just because she lives in Clermont doesn't mean that she can relate.

Have you seen Wulsin's mansion. Driscoll is from Indian Hill too. The only non-limosine liberal of the Indian Hill Dems is Hackett...the rest are just like Wulsin and just like Driscoll.

Oh, I've seen Wulsin's "mansion" and I guess we have different definitions of "mansion."

If by "mansion" you mean "brick ranch home that hasn't been remodeled since 1955" then I guess you are right. However, that isn't what I think of when I hear the word mansion.

And she drives a Ford minivan.

Limo-liberal? Puh-lease.

Weak lyrics, bordering on pathetic.

Jean Schmidt will beat ol' "Doc" Wulson like a rented mule.

I like this song, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not praying that some awful "Schmidt Boy" posts a response song.

Hey Jimmy Parker, where's your song? We just can't get enough of your wisdom. Please respond in kind.

/sarcasm off

OMG! I NEED a Jim Parker song! Just imagine what would happen with those beans! THE BEANS!

The Jean Schmidt cronies are attacking Jim Parker again. If he enters this race as an Independent in 2008, he might not win. But Jean Schmidt will lose the most Republican and conservative district in Ohio.

Mark my words Jean Schmidt, if you don't call off your cronies, I'll start knocking on doors for Jim Parker... He is a decent man. I hope he runs against you again!
