Hillary or Giuliani? So the people of Ohio want to continue more of the same? Endless war in Iraq (and soon Iran), job outsourcing, corporate tax breaks, torture, National ID, and more violations of the U.S. Constitution etc.

Brief Overview of Congressman Ron Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.

He has never taken a government-paid junket.

He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.

He voted against regulating the Internet.

He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Speaking of 2008, Steve Chabot is going to have a lot to answer for next year. Why does he put his wealthy campaign contributors before uninsured children? A recent ad from Americans United calls out Chabot over this.

Well, the 'bush whacko' house of cards is collapsing !

Surplus squandered, mounting deficit, a dollar worth 1/3 less since 2000 means American workers have a true reduction in purchasing power !

Spend, Spend, Spend for oil war !

Cutting funds, on the bottom rung, means more crime and no funds for food, health care !

China bailing from the dollar after financing 25% of our nations debt !

Brilliant public servants those wRong wingnut whackos are !

They have sold the rope that shall hang U.S. !

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !

Regarding Ron Paul. Everything sounds great, and if I thought he had a chance I would be a huge supporter, the problem is he's a long shot at best. If he was an Independent or a Democrate I think he would have a better shot. Given the ongoing hipocracy and greed associated with the GOP, I find it hard to beleive that anyone with even a small amount compassion could bring themself to vote for anyone in the GOP.

Anyone of the top Democratic candidates would make a far better leader than anyone the GOP has. Even a moderate candidate like Rudy doesn't stand a chance once the general election garbage starts up.

I will proudly vote for a Democrat as President. Clinton, Obama, or Edwards can count on my full support.

Re: Ron PaulBot

"A 1992 political newsletter by former Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, included portrayals of African-Americans as inclined toward crime and lacking sense about political issues, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday. Paul, a former Libertarian Party presidential candidate who defeated Democratic-turned-Republican Rep. Greg Laughlin in the March primary, in November will face Democratic attorney Charles (Lefty) Morris, whose campaign is distributing Paul's writings.

Under the headline "Terrorist Update," Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and wrote, "If you have ever been robbed by a black teenaged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be." About blacks in Washington, D.C., Paul wrote, "I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal." Paul said Wednesday that his comments came in the context of "current events and statistical reports of the time,"

Also, it's interesting to note that Alex Jones, the famous 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist is actually ON THE STAFF of the Ron Paul campaign.

http://query.nictusa.com/pres/2007/Q3/C00432914/B_PAYEE_C00432914.html

Ron Paul is a racist, hires 9/11 conspiracy nuts to do his dirty work, has an interesting criminal history, and has an even more interesting sexual past.

I can't believe the PaulBots are taking over the enquirer blogs. BRING BACK BIG BOLD NUTJOB GUY!

A final thought about the election of 2007: Mayor Mallory may be crowing that Tuesday’s election demonstrates voter confidence in the current Council, but an analysis of voting patterns reveals the exact opposite to be the case. Only three incumbents—Cranley and Qualls, with about 55% of the vote, and Crowley, with about 51%—were supported by a majority of the 59,246 citizens who bothered to vote. All the other incumbents were rejected by a significant majority of the voters, in several cases by as many as 60%. In other words, the voters clearly intended to throw the rascals out. They failed because they didn’t vote smart, either withholding their votes from incumbents without at the same time voting for non-incumbents or diluting the power of their vote by unsystematically disseminating it across the remaining field of candidates. It’s probably safe to assume, for example, that most of the 30,112 citizens who voted for Crowley share his progressive values. If that’s true, it follows that very few of them would have voted for Berding. But at least 16,378 of Crowley’s supporters also withheld their votes from Greg Harris, the candidate whose positions most resemble Crowley’s. If a little more than half of this contingent had voted for Harris, he would have replaced Berding on the Council. Similarly, 60% of the voters opposed the Fiscal Five, presumably viewing them as obstructionists. If only a quarter of these voters had supported Republican John Eby and Democrat Greg Harris, that political “odd couple” whose pledge of cooperation despite partisan differences earned them the unlikely endorsements of both City Beat and the Enquirer would have replaced Monzel and Berding, significantly changing the dynamic of the Council. Other examples can be deduced. My point, then, is that the message sent by the overwhelming majority of voters on Tuesday, although somewhat garbled by their failure to vote strategically, was a vote of no confidence in the current Council. An unfortunate result may be that the Council will be crippled by the awareness that a large majority of their constituents voted against them. If that happens, an already cautious group of representatives will become even more cautious, and very little will be accomplished over the next two years.

Thanks Crunk. Carl Weiser is a lazy reporter incapable of analysis. But your comment helps readers to assess and understand the implications of the 2007 election.

Carl, we know you now want to proceed with fluffy coverage of the 2008 elections. Thanks Crunk for helping to fill a journalistic void.

I've been hearing about this Ron Paul. Where did you get this information about a criminal /sexual history? Please provide a source for such accusations.

What was the point of your link?

Regarding the post about '9/11 Conspiracy Nuts';

Have you ever taken the time to research the claims of these 'conspiracy nuts like Architect Richard Gage and the hundreds of other architects and engineers who have joined his website ae911truth.org?

Watch this video presentation by Richard Gage:
http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-6883441047197474365&hl=en
or here at http://tinyurl.com/ysto43

What about military, intelligence and government personnel like those on PatriotsQuestion911.com? This website has the following members who question the 9/11 Commission Report:

250+ Engineers and Architects
60+ Pilots and Aviation Professionals
160+ Professors Question 9/11
190+ 9/11 Survivors and Family Members
100+ Entertainment and Media Professionals

You can find much more information about the research about 9/11 at our local website www.Cincy911.org.

I doubt that you will actually take the time to research any of this. It's much easier to live in ignorance and denial. You'll just call me and others who HAVE taken the time to look at the evidence showing that a criminal faction of our own government were complicit in these horrendous attacks 'wackos', 'anti-american conspiracy nuts' etc. Your way is SOOOOO much easier than thinking.

Crunk makes a good point. But I wonder why Crowley put all his weight behind Brian Garry? I received Crowley - Garry direct mail, fundraising letters, and robocalls right up to the election. Crowley also hosted Garry's kickoff, etc. Crowley's over-the-top support for one candidate became the talk of Democratic circles because Garry was sort of regarded as a joke candidate who was in way over his head.

Crowley is the only reason Garry was able to finish 17th place, as oppossed to way down in Justin Jeffre territory.

Imagine if Crowley put his weight behind Harris the way he helped Garry? Would it have been enough for Harris to win the support of an additional 30% of Crowley's backers? Quite possibly.

Why did Crowley make Garry his cause?

You so-called 9/11 truthers are a bunch of tin foil hat-wearing nutjobs. The same lunatics who believed in the black helicopter/UN takeover of the USA conspiracy now profess belief in your inane "theories."

When you count Rosie O'Donnell and Charlie Sheen as supporters, you know you're in trouble. I hope the FBI has a thick file on each one of you traitors. Your day is coming...soon.

Anon at 9:54 an,

You've proven my point once again. Thank you! As I posted above, all you are capable of is calling us names. You are either too ignorant, lazy or cowardly to actually do any research on the subject.

Since I am interested in bringing about a new, open, thorough and independent investigation into the events of 9/11 so that the family members of the 9/11 victims (and all citizens) can learn the truth, I have NO FEAR of the FBI knowing who I am. I've already written to every US Senator and many House of Representative members. If you've ever done that you know that you need to provide your name, address, email address etc. (I've even given them my work and home phone numbers.)

We are seeking a new investigation because there has NOT been an adequate resolution to the causation and aftermath of the event. The 9/11 Commission Report was a 'complete cover-up'.

So wanting to know the truth is TRAITOROUS now? Seig Heil!

Like to see a smaller topic addressed as far as conspiracies are concerned before chewing on the unchewable ones. How about explaining the events, actions, and players in the school bus bomb training at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds last presidential election day? That's an open question I put to all elected council members. If you dismiss this as much ado about nothing then why hasn't there been any other bomb training since? I challenge all and will consider those who dismiss the importance as pretenders, elected status aside. Deal with the fact that this event needs to be lanced. I'm not diverting my attention to federal personalities until I see accountability in the smaller (local) matters! The fact that this topic has been squelched tells me that both sides are culpable and the coverup is ongoing. Most chatterbox referees over the years agree that the cover-ups are the most damning. Get to it local leaders!! If you don't, you ain't worth your salt.

We are monitoring the traitors who call themselves '9/11 truthers'.
There will be a day of reckoning for scum like you.

As for not fearing the FBI, talk to David Koresh and the Branch Davidians. Of course, you'd need a Ouija board to do that
.

Hamilton County Militia huh? Then if you feel that finding out the truth about 9/11, government corruption and the lies that led us into Iraq is important perhaps you need to re-read your duties OFFICER!

Adversaries of the Militia

The duty of the militia is to protect society, its members, and its Constitution, from anything that may threaten it.

That includes foreign enemies, domestic insurrectionists, and disasters, but at the moment, the primary threat to which the Militia needs to respond comes from domestic enemies of the Constitution, which are found in every institution
and sector of our society. Many of them are gangsters, and we can speak of the Establishment, gangster government, gangster corporations, banksters, and their minions, many of them driven by the money from narcotrafficking. But it also includes zealots and fascists who pretend to have noble intentions, and may even believe it, but who are the most dangerous of all.

More at: http://www.monix.net/Adversaries.txt

Have you ever read the U.S. Constitution? Maybe you should!

Hmmm...smells like we got a Noam Chomsky kool-aid drinker around here.

Here's a great article that rips your America-hating idol Chomsky to shreds:

Or perhaps you are a Ron PaulBot in disguise. It's hard to tell the various conspiracy theorists apart sometimes.
