Boehner's in Iraq

And here's the photo to prove it... Pictured above is House Minority Leader John Boehner of West Chester speaking with Maj. Gen. Michael D. Barbero, who is the Deputy Director for Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in Iraq earlier today. (Photo provided by Rep. Boehner’s office.)

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Cincinnati) was asked about “the Americans who are killed every month” in Iraq and “how much longer” the “military commitment is going to require?” “The investment that we’re making today will be a small price if we’re able to stop al Qaeda here,” replied Boehner. The small price Boehner refers to is 3774 dead US troops and counting.

this is disgraceful. anybody who supports this man deserves what they get.

Thank you for supporting the troops and the United States of America, Rep. John Boehner. You could teach the America-hating liberals on this blog a thing or two about love of country. Liberal traitors to this country will be dealt with harshly...and soon.

TO: Anon at 9:51 AM, September 13, 2007:

Don't you DARE accuse me of this "America-hating liberals" CRAP! Obviously you know NOTHING about the 'fixed intelligence' that took us into this illegal and immoral Iraq war in the first place. Ever heard of the Downing Street Minutes? Do you even read to do you merely parrot what the Fox News talking heads tell you to think?

Are you even aware that your tanned, golfer Boehner had to take an oath to 'support and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC" when he accepted his position as House Rep for Ohio?

Here are a few quotes for idiots like you... (this is even presuming you can understand them)

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." – Theodore Roosevelt

The duty of a patriot is to protect his country from its government." – Thomas Paine

"When the government fears the people, that is liberty. When the people fear the government, that is tyranny." – Thomas Jefferson

---------------------------

NOW... for your "Liberal traitors to this country will be dealt with harshly...and soon." comment. What exactly are you threatening here? Have you ever heard of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution? Here it is...

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

You would have made a great Nazi with ignorant statements like yours.

america hating liberals. america hating liberals. america hating liberals.

sorry loser, no matter how many times you say it, the lie just isn't true. liberals love america far more than conservatives do. thats why they fight for the constitution and our freedoms. thats why they're doing everything they can to turn back the neocon fascist tide.

liberals love america. now that's a truth that stands on its own.

Hey Annon 9:51am.. Drink Boehner's tears after you guys loose in 2008! Liberals care deeply for this country, it's very obvious. Without a strong America - strong people, strong defense, youre right we will get what's coming to us... all of us. W has put us in the most vulnerable place in recent history. GO REPUBS!

So-called 9/11 'truthers' are the worst scum this country has ever produced.

Operation Enduring Freedom destroyed the terrorist network in Afghanistan. We won the Iraq War in a matter of weeks. We will also succeed in the occupation phase of operations in Iraq. The Surge is working, much to the chagrin of the America-hating enemies within. Your day of reckoning is coming, you traitors.

On Wednesday, House Republican Leader John Boehner claimed the loss of American life in Iraq is a "small price."

We have a message for John Boehner -- the loss of a single American is NEVER a small price.

Join our call in demanding Congressman Boehner apologize to our men and women in combat and their families for his insensitive and hurtful comments.

Demand Republican Leader Boehner Apologize

To belittle the sacrifice of more than 30,000 brave Americans killed or injured in Iraq as a 'small price' is reprehensible. Clearly, John Boehner and his Republican colleagues will say anything to justify President Bush's stay-the-course approach, but this damaging rhetoric has no place in the debate about the New Direction needed in Iraq.

Mr. Boehner owes our military men and women and their families an apology for his hurtful comments that minimize their tragic loss.

Demand Republican Leader Boehner Apologize

Our brave American service men and women are sacrificing daily for President Bush's 10-year occupation of Iraq. They deserve our deepest thanks and gratitude for their service to America, not thoughtless comments by the likes of John Boehner.

Instead of minimizing the sacrifice of our soldiers, airmen and Marines, John Boehner and House Republicans should honor their service by voting with Democrats who are demanding a New Direction that will bring our troops home from Iraq.

Thank You,

Brian Wolff
