Brown reacts to passport change

Sen. Sherrod Brown also has been dealing with a flood of requests for help from people trying to get their passports in time for international trips, his office said.

This is what the Lorain Democrat had to say today about the White House's decision to lift certain requirements:

“The passport situation over the last few months was unacceptable, and it was appropriate that the State Department took this step. Unfortunately, it's going to take time to eliminate the backlog of international passports. Anyone applying for a passport should do so early, and my office can help with applications.”

Malia,

With all due respect, I like you but am becoming quite bored with what I am reading. You need to write something about Southwest Ohio that captures people's passion... Something that captures their hearts. Where is the excitement in all of this? You are incredibly talented. Isn't there anything happening in the political arena of Southwest Ohio that's out of the ordinary? What about that meeting that the Hamilton County Democratic Forum is holding Monday night? Is there anything out of the ordinary happening there tomorrow? Is there anybody who can pull us out of these political doldrums?

You know... Dem fights Dem... Dem loses to Republican for decade after decade after decade... Malia, I know you can do better than this... Malia, please...

It seems that we have awoken a sleeping giant. Too bad you are in DC instead of where everything will be happening tomorrow night...

Lots of people will be talking about why they are Democrats at the HCDF meeting. Yyyyyyaaawwwwwwwwwwwwawnnnnnnnnn...

When are we going to get somebody in Washington who can put all the political BS aide and start solving people's problems?

We are on a economic path of destruction. That's what Rob Portman says...

Is there anybody out there willing to step out of the private sector and solve the problems in America or are we just stuck with a bunch of useless politicians for the rest of our lives?
