There's not much on it yet, but
Click here to check out Melanie Bates' campaign Web site.
As one might expect, given that her husband was shot to death right outside their North Avondale house last year, she stresses safety.
She says its essential to elect council members with experience and maturity, who will make decisions to reduce violent crime. She says she has the "leadership ability and passion to get the job done."
She is one of three endorsed by the Charter Party.

Yes, the Dem's knew before they endorsed Brian Garry that he was a pro-boycott activist who often gave voice to radicals on his lame public access tv show. But did they also know that Garry was frequently sued by former employees and the State of Ohio?

Brian Gary, the face of the Democratic Party!
Dear M. Bater:
Contribution limits are $1000 not $1100.... details don't matter much, huh?
Please stay at home.
Sincerely,

how is your bashing of Garry even relevant to a piece on Bates?
if you look at court records of other candidates you'd see far worse- like a former police officer with tax evasion year after year after year
"...how is your bashing of ... even relevant...
Someone must feel threatened by a viable candidate !
What really isn't relevant is the utilization of a dead man for the sympathy vote !
While Bates is a PE for the Dem party, we wonder why she seeks to work outside ?
HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2007 !
Shut up bold type guy! This is from a fellow Lib!!
I'm definately threatened by Garry, in the sense that I'm quite literally scared of the dude.
"...Shut up bold type guy! This is from a fellow Lib!!..."
Sorry, we're Not Ready to Make Nice !
Sounds NAZI to us !
"...I'm definately threatened by Garry, in the sense that I'm quite literally scared of the dude...."
Why is that, because he fought for your right to exercise 'free speech' ?
PATHETIC !
HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2007 !
