Indian Hill turning blue?

Barbara Gould must be driving her Indian Hill neighbors crazy. She keeps dragging these Democrat politicians into the neighborhood.

Gould, an interior designer known for many years for her role as a matron of the arts in Cincinnati, has become, in recent years, a prodigious fundraiser for Democratic candidates, particularly at the state level.

During the 2006 election cycle, she raised hundreds of thousands for a raft of candidates, from Ted Strickland to Sherrod Brown to Jennifer Brunner, not to mention the Ohio Democratic Party itself.

Gould is at it again - on Feb. 20, she'll host a $1,000 per head fundraiser for the state party at her Indian Hill home, featuring Strickland and state party chairman Chris Redfern. Valet parking will be available.

Indian Hill's not what it used to be. There was a time, not long ago, when Democrats practically needed to show a passport just to drive their cars on Shawnee Run Road. Now, it is home to one of the Ohio Democratic Party's biggest fundraisers and has produced the last two Democrats to run for Congress in the 2nd District.

Indian Hill may not quite be blue yet, but it's taking on a definite purple hue.

Indian Hill residents are becoming smarter and saavvier. Many have seen their businesses get ruined under the Repugnicant rule in Ohio. They've also been totally embarassed by their Repugnicant Congresswitch. The Repugnicant fund-raising events in Indian Hill are so extreme and over the top with their security escorts shutting down Shawnee Run Road.

Indian Hill residents are also engaged in world affairs and know that the Repugnicant war-mongerer in chief is ruining America's reputation around the world. This is impacting their ability to do business overseas.

Glad to see the sensible folks in Indian Hill are wising up. Wyoming, Mariemont, and Madeira are following suit.

WIthin a few years, the Repugnicant Party will be confined to a few strongholds out in the sticks where they are always behind the times anyway. It is getting increasingly difficult to tell the difference between a Repugnicant organizational meeting and a Klan rally: all-white, old-fashioned, full of hate, fond of country music and NASCAR, and increasingly marginalized.

America woke up in November 2006 and took our country back from these fascists and plutocrats who have been looting the nation for the past 30 years.

Indian Hill is still solidly red. Look at the candidates for Congress to come from there. Paul Hackett, a trial lawyer, and Victoria Wulsin...a public health Dr. Their professions practically guarantee that they'll be Democrats.

Dont forget Vic Wulsin and Paul Hackett are also from Indian Hill.

It's time to start talking with a few thousand people.

I will be visiting homes throughout the District thanking people for their support during my last campaign for Congress.

The next time I run for Congress, I will personally visit the homes of 15,000 Democratic families before the next primary.

Maybe, after I visit my opponent's neighbors in Clermont County, I'll stop by Indian Hill for a day.

More than 6,300 people voted for me the last time I ran for Congress. We won two counties and came in second in three. And we spent "nothing" on that campaign. Just imagine the battle to November against Jean if I could raise enough to put a few commercials on Cincinnati television...

Everytime I run for Congress, other candidates and their staff tell me that if I could get my message out to enough people, that I would win. The reason that I believe them is that I've never run for Congress for me. I have been doing it for you. And I will run again...

Jim Parker for Congress - 2010 ???

Help Jim Parker get his message to 15,000 Democratic families who live in Southern Ohio.

Thank you.

Jim Parker
Future Democratic Candidate for US Congress
Southern Ohio - 2nd District - 2005 & 2006... 2010

Save Medicare,

Strengthen the Economy,

End the War

I am sure Indian Hill residents must live in fear knowing that "Pie Head" Hackett is running around the area armed with Military grade automatic weapons strapped to his back.
