Wulsin denounces Kerry comment

... After Kerry apologized yesterday for the bad joke he made Monday. CLICK HERE to read the comment and yesterday's blog about the remark. CLICK HERE to read Kerry's apology.

Apparently Democrat Victoria Wulsin, who's running to unseat Republican Rep. Jean Schmidt in Ohio's 2nd District, wants to make it clear that she's offended by the remark.

"Kerry's statement, like Jean Schmidt's attack on Congressman Murtha, was disrespectful, offensive and completely inappropriate. The men and women and their families who sacrifice so greatly to protect the freedoms of our country deserve respect, not derision."

More Wulsin: "I believe our military is made up of our country's best and brightest. That's why I am proud to have an Iraq War veteran, Army Specialist Thomas Cassidy, on my staff."

Did you actually read Kerry's prepared speech? It shows that in context he did actually stumble and mis-state what he was trying to say. What he was trying to say, and I don't see how anyone can dispute it, is that somebody like George Bush who went to college and avoided studying and tests and learned nothing can make a monumental mistake and get himself and all of us stuck in a stupid war that he has no idea how to win. How do you like that America? George Bush is making us all losers in the eyes of the rest of the world. He has no plan to "win" in Iraw, unless it's just to declare that we won and now we are going home.

But of course the republican machine just gloms onto the misstatement and goes out of its way to try and play it as the us/them game. And you I guess are part of it.

When is Wulsin going to denounce her nuclear waste dump comments now that letters between Wulsin and the Piketon labor unions show that there never was any discussion of a waste dump.In fact a new letter that is going to be released from the United Steelworkers Union to Congresswoman Schmidt states "I appreciate very much the fact that you have consistently expressed your strong opposition to Piketon becoming a so-called "waste dump". This new letter will show that Wulsin just John Kerry'd her own campaign. Maybe she will get an invite to meet with the Ohio Election Commission. They don't like false ads and robo calls.

Yea instead of just saying that Kerry made a stupid, dumb, lame, statement you want to make an excuse for him.

No politician will ever say yea I made a mistake. Truth was no matter what he was planning on saying he said something that was offensive to our military(not the first time he has done that).

Of course you won't admit he made a mistake and should not have said it. You explain it away and try to make a statement about how much you hate Bush. I may not like Bush either but how lame. Kerry making a statement that offended our troops was bad. Just admit that. Not sure how Kerry making a stupid statement leads you to get to Bash Bush again.

7:15 Anonymous might want to consider this: As spun by Republicans, the worst Kerry allegedly said to our soldiers was, "You're not hard-working college students." On the other hand, Bush said to our soldiers, "Go to Iraq and die for phony reasons."

Which is worse?

Once again not here to support Bush. But can't you at least admit that Kerry's statement was offensive to our military men and women. I would repect him and you more if you can just admit that. The subject of this was not Bush(but you can't help your hatred of Bush and bash him every chance) I am not a Bush fan but I will repect him as Commander and Chief. But once again can you admit that Kerry was an idiot for what he said???

Just someone, sometime put down your side(republican, or democrat) and admit he was wrong with what he said. Show me a little class!!
