but dont worry. im sure the voters wont remember what a mockery you made of our election system in another 2 years, so maybe you can try again....

Mockery? By insisting that all the votes be counted? That's some interesting logic.

yes, mockery. did i stutter?

first of all, the votes are counted regardless of whether or not she concedes, so her "i think all the votes should be counted, therefore i refuse to concede" is completely illogical. secondly, she essentially accused the schmidt campaign of fraud because barry bennett made an incorrect statement saying you cant go back and correct your provisional ballot issues (if you think that was intentional, i have some tin foil hats for you..). thirdly, it was damn near statistically impossible for vic to win, unless no one at the wulsin campaign cannot do basic math, which would not surprise me.

mockery? yes.

personally, im grateful that we have a member of congress to represent us who is not shy about what she believes. she speaks her mind, and whether you agree with her or not, at least you know where she stands, which is more than i can say for vic wulsin.

congratulations jean, and thank you.

Our election system is a mockery all by itself. It's all about the money from big fianciers and corporations. Not to mention the private corporations that secretly count our votes without any paper trail or way to have a transparent recount.

Then you have partisan officials like Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell purging voters from the voter roles for being African Americans. 8 hour lines in poor African American districts, but lets not make a mockery of our election system by actually counting all the votes before we call the race.

Elections in this country are a joke, but dream on anon. We're #1!

There's something very wrong with the election system in Ohio, where our close elections are among the very last in the nation to be determined. Even the Congressional race in the Sarasota area (where undervotes are the issue) has been certified. The only Congressional races undetermined are those where run-offs are required. The state legislature, which promulgated the unclear ID provisions, is responsible for this mess, as well as unclear/vague instructions from the SoS office and the various BoEs. Ohioans must demand that their representatives clear up this mess so that we have results within a few days of the election. The action of the Warren Co BoE (not counting absentee ballots until about 10 days after the election) because they were too tired on election night is reprehensible.

Why does the Enquirer's headline on their main news page read "Wulsin Concedes?" It should read "Schmidt Wins" like their blog page. Afterall, Wulsin was a no name first time candidate and Congresswoman Schmidt was the incumbent expected to win all along. The Enquirer's choice of a headline on their web news page demonstrates their continued efforts to pander to the Democrats.

Keep throwing out lies like 8 hour lines and people not allowed to vote because they are Black.

There are no 8 hour lines and there have been no instances of people who are legal and follow the rules not being allowed to vote. There is no proof of that.

If you mean the convicts and those not legal to vote are not allowed to vote then you are right. The law is suppose to be followed.

Stop throwing out things that have never been proved.

Former felons are permitted to vote in Ohio as they are in most states that did not practice Jim Crow.

You must have gotten this misimpression from the Mighty Texas Strike Force in Franklin County who used pay phones to threaten voters.

Congresswoman Jean Schmidt wins her fourth election contest in the past 18 months, and finally, finally, gets to serve her district without having to run a campaign every 4-5 months. Congratulations, Jean, and way to go!

Yes former felons are allowed to but that is former felons.

Also someone making phone calls is not the same thing you were saying before.

Noone is turned away at the polls if they are registered and legal to vote. Now if you want to talk about phone calls??? That kind of stuff happens on both sides. It is not right but this has nothing to do with voter fraud at the polls like you claimed when you were throwing out 8 hour lines and not letting people vote.

Once agian there is no proof of people being turned away who are legal to vote.

WOW some phone calls!!! Something else you have no proof of.
