Heimlich uses the same canards he used in a telephone push poll that I and others received a week or so ago. I hung up then and hang up now. - Don't waste my time talking about a few hundred dollars spent on office furniture. Get real.

Phil voted for the following:

ORDINANCE (emergency) submitted on 12/20/95 by Andis Udris, Director of Economic Development, approving and authorizing the execution of the following agreements relating to a reinvestment program for the downtown Cincinnati Saks Fifth Avenue store: (i) the Fourth Amendment to Contract for Lease of Land for Private Redevelopment with Ohio Win, Inc., forgiving the balance of a loan obligation to the City effective June 1, 1995, and agreeing to refund loan payments made to the City after that date; and (ii) the Funding & Reinvestment Program Agreement with Saks Fifth Avenue of Ohio, Inc., providing for implementation of a $5,000,000 reinvestment program with City funding of $1,500,000; and declaring City and State laws applicable to award of City contracts inoperative with respect to the City project funding.
