Enquirer's Malia Rulon on C-Span Wednesday

Enquirer Washington Bureau reporter Malia Rulon will be on C-Span's Washington Journal Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

She'll talk, via phone, about the congressional race between Rep. Steve Chabot and John Cranley. They're fighting to represent Ohio's first congressional district, which includes Cincinnati's western neighborhoods, western Hamilton County, and southwest Butler County.

Don't tune in too late - she's only on for about five minutes.

We all know that Malia Rulon is a complete and total shill for the GOP, just like everyone else at the Enquirer.

If you don't believe me, watch tomorrow. Everyone knows that Cranley is outraising Abramoff, er, Chabot. The money, the momentum, and the endorsements are all flowing Cranley's way.

Mulon, like her buddy Bob McEwen, doesn't live around here and has no clue how to read the pulse of our city. She has no clue that the voters are realizing that Steve Chabot's policies that the GOP has inflicted on our cities is the real problem.

Visionary leaders such as Mayor Mallory and Commissioner Pepper will be able to work with a common-sense Democrat such as John Cranley to improve our city.

John Cranley is well on his way to a victory by at least a 60-40 margin. Everyone in town can see that except the Chabot campaign and the Enquirer, which are really one and the same.

She will try to save face for her GOP friend, and say the race is close, but, deep down, she can tell, even from DC, that this is a Cranley blowout big-time.

Cincinnati voters are waking up from Harrison to Evendale and are eagerly counting down the days until they can vote out Steve Chabot and vote in John Cranley

Another area notable appearing on a national channel...Paul Hackett...scheduled to be on The Colbert Report Thursday night, Aug 3, Comedy Channel, 11:30 p.m. Should be a good "sparring match" as Stephen assumes a Bill O'Lielly persona during the six-minute segment. I wouldn't expect the local paper to mention this, so please pass it on! Repeats Friday at 8:30 a.m.and 2:30 p.m.

I accept the near-universal premise that Malia Rulon and the Enquirer are total shills for the GOP. Malia proved that this morning with her spoon-fed-from-Lindgren blather on C-SPAN.

What I cannot accept from the two other posters on here is that Malia was favoring Bob McEwen over Jean Schmidt. She wrote the Easter Sunday residency piece that sank McEwen.
