Get your Michelle Obama details here!

Howard Wilkinson reports:

Michelle Obama, the wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama, will rally the Cincinnati troops at a Music Hall event Friday.

The Obama campaign said the rally kicks off at 6 p.m., but the doors will open at 5:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, said State Sen. Eric Kearney, one of the organizers of Obama’s Ohio primary campaign.

The candidate’s wife – a lawyer, like her husband - was last in Cincinnati last May, when she came in to raise money for the Obama campaign at the Indian Hill home of Democrat Barbara Gould.

Barack Obama has been campaigning mostly in Wisconsin, which holds its primary Tuesday, but is likely to make at least one appearance in Cincinnati before the March 4 Ohio primary.

Here's a good profile of Michelle Obama, from the New York Times

Is this country BLIND!!!! What is the best way to take America down my friends? You put a Muslamic person at the head of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.... Let's face it. I really could care less if Obama was black/ white/ or even green, if Obama was male/ female/ or gay, I want to be free! Not have to give up my right to say under "GOD" at school...Not to have to cover my face in public...Not to have to wear dresses all the time...Not to be a maid in my own home...Not to have the rights that we have now. I will not stand to move our country back into the dark ages. Think about it people! BUT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION....

Funny thing about blogs, people can say (write) the most ignorant rants and share their thoughts with the public. However, the 1st comment and the comment made at 5:33 prove that some people are just beyond hope and have nothing but fear and hate in their lives. It is those people who will be left behind, due to their own ignorance, when President Obama begins leading 'our' nation forward. Wedge issues like race, religion, orientation, economic status have no place in our future. Remember, out of many we are ONE.

OBAMA 2008!

We already live in the republic jihad of Ohio. We can't smoke, we can't go to strip bars, we can't gamble, soon were not going to be able to burn wood in fireplaces. This was not brought on by Obama but, by the right wing conservatives. Fear is what the conservatives use to scare people like yourself they have been doing it for hundreds of years. Instead of being told by others what to do and how to live think for yourself. Less than 50 years ago people thought it was wrong to go to school with some one of a different race, or let them use the same bathroom as a white person, 80 years before that they didn't think woman should vote. Through out history people have been scared of change but it is time for our nation to grow up and move forward we are an inspiration to the world that has let them down over the last few years lets inspire them once again and prove to ourselves that we are not as close minded as our forefathers.

could the "journalists" who write this blog be any bigger shills for Obama? Proof positive that he's a RINO and an oreo
actually mallomar is the more accurate cookie, half white and puffed up

at 6:31 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

6:18, do you have any idea how hurtful and offensive that term "oreo" actually is? Why not use your brains before shooting off in the safety of your anonymity - criticize policy, not race. Or better yet - be positive about another candidate, rather than being negative about Obama. Contribute to dialogue, not hate.

at 6:45 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Actually I wrote the blog from 6:00 I am a white male and I am not a journalist. That is just how I feel. You are apparently still living in the 1800's since you still like to make comments about people's race.

at 6:49 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

I wrote the blog entry at 6:00 I am not a journalist. Also I am a white male living in the suburbs of Mason. I'm just not as close minded as some. I embrace change not fear it.

Anon 5:27 PM, & 5:33, who is likely the same person posting moments apart; Thanks for the link to the right wing wacko sight. Any lunatic can file a lawsuit; that doesn't make it true. This guy is like Lyndon LaRouch, with accusations of Queen Elizabeth & George HW Bush being major drug dealers, etc. We all know you're no 'independent' and that you are a far right wackjob who needs mental help. Please seek some help.

at 7:49 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

There should be a moderator on this post. There are some nasty cmments being made that are really towing the line. Oreo! Are you insane? That's a horrible thing to say and what is a RINO? Please don't answer that. Let's talk about the issues and not race.

at 8:12 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Will Tony Rezko be there! He is the slum lord that Obama defended and contributed to the Obama campaign! Or is he in jail!

at 8:32 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

All of you talking about race, gender, religion, and ethnicity should be ashamed. We need to be blind over that.

Anyway, I just have to say I like the idea of First Gentleman better.

This lady rocks. Did anyone get to see her on Larry King the other day? She definitely is the rock that holds the family together. Michelle is going to draw a huge crowd; so much so that I have to stay home. I did the organizational meeting yesterday w/such a huge turnout. I can't imagine how many people will show up for Mrs. Obama.

at 8:56 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Anon 6:00 is wrong. The smoking ban and gambling ban were passed by voters, on the same day and in nearly identical proportion they voted for Democrat Ted Strickland. The restrictions, not bans, on strip clubs were pased by majorities in both parties and signed into law by the Democatic Governor.
This ignorance or willful misrepresentation by liberals has been the one constant in my 34 years of life.

at 9:00 PM, February 14, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well, I'll be there. I'd like to see what the lady has to say. I'm thinking her husband would make a great Presidential candidate. He stands a better chance of winning than Hillary.

Connecting dots imagining /wondering - an opportunity for sane policies
By Donnaca Raigne - Feb 12th, 2008 at 12:04 pm EST

I'm excited by what Barak brings to the table.
I hope ladies who are bent on casting their vote(s) for Hillary Clinton
think long and hard with
what is at stake.
Hillary and McCain are not the caliber to interact with persons world
wide. More of ther same.

<> Being bought persons they offer no change but much of the same.
Sorry. Hillary hubby's pardoningof Marc Rich and Lieberman's guiding
angry McCain as like a wheelbarrow.

<>An Obama presidency would excite peoples everywhere in a belief that
the USA was once
again on a path striving to be the hope of mankind. To have such a
talented human rise up to
become leader of the free world - what a message to send to one and all.
Were he to pick Ms Clinton as VP then we would have :) two black
presidents in the WH. I wonder if he could deal with Bill wondering if
he would tarnish the surroundings as like previously being the case.

<>Sharpton (T Brolly fame) Jackson (Jesse) diminished - Obama toppings all.
Whiners of such hues would be quited and their brethern left feeling
that prideful respectability from such presidency - akin to hose whom
John F. Kennedy gave pride and making people of his ancestry proud.
With 85% of the world's people being non white
what a signal to send to friend and foe alike. No more excuses but
being obliged to get on with it.
Son of an an enslaved people rising up within a short number of years -
a miracle I hope for. An America reborn for greatness renewed. Not
serving the interests of those powerful sqeeky wheel lobbyists who
drain us dry by having to protect their specialized statelet through
wars and the loss of our youthful blood along with our brainwashed
mouthings, ala Pavlov's dogs - in the process.
<> Just pray that Obama stays true and not stray - somehow I feel his
passion to do right. After some years having passed of insanity I'm
daring to hope.

I am going to be there tomorrow night, along with an overflow crowd!!!!!! IT WILL BE PACKED.

The 5:33 poster has been saying the same things on other local sites even though she's been shown the info that he's not a muslim terrorist several times. If it's not her, this poster is borrowing her phrases and her ellipses.

Oh good grief. A RINO isn't racist, Anon 7:49. RINO is what it is - Republican In Name Only.

I saw an interview with Michelle Obama on TV this evening. Frankly, I was appalled. This individual talked like a mix of Laketa Cole & Alicia Reece.

This woman is a lawyer! What's with all the "ya know" "gonna" crap?

While questions were being asked & not even completed, she was making this "uh um, uh um" sound.

My best advice to Miz Obama is to start working on her language skills.

My biggest outrage is the political ad with Obama just now talking about his Mother & her early, suffering death. He's conveniently tied that into better health care. All of a sudden, Mother is now front & center, instead of the glorified Daddy who decided to pick up stakes & move on. I get the impression Obama's ashamed that his Mother was a white woman.

I got this information on another blog and could like to hear Michelle Obama's comments on this issue. And I would like to know why hasn't this information been mentioned on mainstream media. The american people need to know if this is true and what does the Obama's have to say about its content.

Obama Ruined? Allegations of Homosexuality, Drug Abuse

What is a RINO? You're kidding, right? You're commenting on a political thread and don't know that RINO is an acronym for Republican In Name Only?

I love Obama's plan to use $200 Billion tax dollars to "create jobs" in construction and other industries.

News flash: there is a coming labor shortfall of 5 million workers as it is with the Boomers retiring. There won't be taxpayers to take the money from to create jobs you can't fill.

I doubt the mainstream media will talk about it much because it is ridiculous.
heck, I don't even like the guy.......
I think it's pretty funny, tho.
Does that guy even look like Obama's type ?

What is funny about Billary is that she is "Hillary Rodham Clinton", when convenient, "Hillary Clinton" otherwise. A sad shell of a once formidable political partnership.

Do you deserve an Obama?

Do what he did get educated and learn how to be positive!!

at 9:48 AM, February 16, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Obama claims the he shunned Wall Street to get involved with his local towns political problems (umemployment). There is NO way that he was to work at Wall Street. His economic "policies" are right out of the East Berlin playbook and he economically makes Jimmy Carter look like a financial expert.(and we know that Mr. Carter was a disaster). Financially, Mr. Obama is a economic disaster waiting to happen and Cincinnati needs to THINK about what he is saying. Really pay attention people.

Are obama supporters Marxist inspired ?

"Investor’s Business Daily even asserted in an editorial that Obama did “permit the display of a huge Cuban flag at one of his offices, emblazoned with a mass murderer’s mug” — while pointing out that the ...presidential candidate refuses to wear an American flag lapel pin."

PATHETIC: Phony King Imitator !

Queen Hitlery Rodram Clinton and Barry Obama are a couple of unqualified hack politicians. I wouldn't trust either one of them to run a lemonade stand, let alone the USA.

Obama is our Savior. Please everyone, you must realize that Michelle as a African American has been wronged by america. Obama will treaty with our Muslim brothers. Barak and Michelle need to have the opportunity to create change by teaching americans on the errors of their ways!
