Once again, the wRong wingnut whacko 'fishwRap' demonstrates their political bias !

The 'wRap' is so bias they won't even list the names and seats the Democrats are fielding !

Yet, they will rant and rave about who the G-rand O-ld P-edophiles will run in 2010 !

We wonder if they are getting those property tax breaks as members of that country club ?

We wonder what corporate boards they are all linked too ?

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2008 !

Liberalism is a "mental disease" as one writer states. HAD ENOUGH (1st comment) is now proof.

Thank goodness Cranley wasn't elected to Congress. Could you imagine how strong of a personality he would be?

"I'll only comment on this if someone else does first."

I bet he would have voted for the war because it seemed like the popular thing to do. Then he would say something lame in the paper about how he would have spoken out against it if only someone else did.

We need new Democrats. Our current ones are broken.

How many Repugnicants have to be caught molesting children, or trying to molest children, before someone in power starts connecting the dots and shows that the organization is little more than a front or child molestation and other criminal activities?

The Repugs have closed down civic organizations that raise money for local charities as alleged "terror funding groups" with far fewer members even remotely involved in such matters.

You can bet that if the NAACP or UAW had this many sex offenders in it, the Repugs in the U.S. Attorney's office would close, padlock, and fumigate every local from coast to coast overnight.

Harold Ickes, lifelong public servant, friend and confidant to many Democrats. Oh, yes, that right0wing jesus Freak xealot Ken Starr smeared him and many others when they tried to reverse the 1992 NAD 1996 LEGITIMATE elections with a partisan with-hunt consisting of offering trailer-park losers outrageous wads of cash to lie about the Clintons.

Yeah. Remember that.

And what did Ken Starr and the other wrong-wing mentally unbalanced Jesus-freak nutjobs find on the Clintons????

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE HUNDRED MILLION TAXPAYER DOLLARS FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET SO RIGHT-WING LAWYERS COULD GET THEMSELVES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

So, yeah, I do remember Harold Ickes. I remember the right-wing smear jobs of the 90s. All of them. I see their hate machine is in overdrive now. Anything to try and make people forget about the real criminals in the Gang Of Pedophiles.

As to the topic, TIm Burke: love him or hate him, he certainly deserves the appointment to the BOE.

Bass-Island double-wide on stilts, located on the banks of the beutiful Arkansas River, courtesy of US Federal court.

Not to be superficial but why do I always assume a politician with a triple-chin is a clown? Mitch, Taft, Cheney, Burke, etc?

Let's be honest, this story should have TODD PORTUNE's picture. It was his PLOT.

What is next in the chronology??

1st. Todd Portune wins County Commissioner seat because Bob Bedinghaus makes dirty backroom deals, which ignored the will of county voters.

2nd. Todd Portune ignores the will of county voters after handedly rejecting a new tax for a new jail and raises taxes without a citizen vote.

3rd. Citizens respond to Todd's flagrant disregard to voters with a grassroots effort to allow a vote. Todd makes heavy-handed efforts to try and stop a ballot allowing for a citizen vote, but citizens prevail.

4th. Todd makes dirty backroom deals with Party Bosses and Si Leis to defeat citizens' efforts to keep taxes low and spread overcrowing jail issue lies.

5th. Citizens reject Todd's jail tax plan with a vote against his objections to democracy.

6th. Todd announces he will punish the citizens for the votes by slashing programs.

7th. Todd designs several deals to avoid Republican Party opposition, by offering a free Republican seat on the commission.

8th. Todd's backroom dirty dealings include thug tactics from the Leis gang and Chesley, threatening Greg Harris.

9th. Citizens come to find out that Todd was making deals and using tax dollars to fund empty jail beds in Butler County.

10th. ???

The party's legislative screening committee, headed by State Sen. Eric Kearney and State Rep. Dale Mallory,...

Jail, er, Dale Mallory on the party's legislative screening committee? Lawdy! This is funnier than his bedbug crusade! I guess Daddy had to grease Timbo Burke's palm to get Jail, er, Dale, that position.

And yes, I remember Harold Ickes.

This was Portune's deal, and Burke is taking credit for it.

DeWine got scared, in part, because Portune was scheming revenge on DeWine by having Charlie Winburn challenge Pat for the primary. The "Leis jail tax gang" were in on it, expecting to launch a nasty campaign to take DeWine down. If that happened, Portune was offering Winburn a free ride if the other side of the aisle would give one to him in exchange.

If you think this sounds convoluted, you don't know how power hungry Todd Portune is.

Questions for all you political freeks? If a person is tired of the career Democtrats and has already vowed to NEVER vote for the GOP again, what should I do on election day?

at 12:03 PM, January 26, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Answer to question. Get behind Chris Dole who is trying to get on the ballot as an independent to challenge Hartmann for county commissioner. Chris is a Crosby township trustee. He needs 3000 signatures by March 3. He wants to provide a choice not an annointment.

Don't take a myoptic veiw on one party or another; but research the candidates as much as possible on previous performance in their chosen feilds, and THE COMPANY THAT THEY KEEP!

Pay special attention to non-incumbants.

This stuff isn't rockett science; just make sure your BS meter is in fine tune.

Yeah Usefullidiot, but what if, by chance, you have a full time job & wife/kids to nuture??

Feel you, been there, done that and put 1 kid thru skruwl and have 1 year left on one.

You decide what is moore important, watching a bunch of millionaire felons playing with a ball, or you out hitting a little white ball wearing stoopid looking pants, or doing important reaserch that will effect the nuturing of your familey and your livelyhood.

Don't let the diversion of mass-media, hollywood,or sports take your attention away from what is REALLY important. Get out in the streets and scream!!!

It will work!!!

With all the crooks in the Repugnicant Party, the GOP could be classified as a street gang under a law that they rammed through and Taft signed into law. Taft himself could be considered a gang member under it!

From a recent Columbus Dispatch (AKA right-wing rag, just like our local Fishwrap) article:

"Ohio law classifies a gang as three or more people engaged in criminal activity who have a common name or use an identifying sign, symbol or color. Participating in a gang is a second-degree felony."

We don't even need a Democratic president to jail the Repugs as a corrupt organization under RICO, which is Federal law. Governor Strickland and AG Marc Danncould do it tonight.

Bob Bennett could be frog-marched out of his plush office tomorrow.

Hope your "skruwl" kid has a good life -really.

Why do you believe that "railing against the powers that be" will work? I see no evidence.
