New pro-tax web site

We were tipped today to a web site promoting Commissioners Todd Portune and David Pepper's public safety plan and sales tax increase. It even has its own online petition that people can sign to support of the plan.

We were unable to immediately reach Brayden Miles, who is listed as the creator of the site. To view it for yourself: http://www.wedemandasolution.com/.

I'd nominate that for the worst site of the '07 campaign. Not sure what is worst: the criminal over use of poorly chosen stock photos, the awful design/color scheme, or embarrassing spelling and grammar errors.

Finney the Fink weighs in...great...he's real credible! As long as they're not slapping their behinds, cussing out people and tellin' women to kiss their a**es in public - I can over look "home grown," grassroots movements that are honest and straight forward.
It's time to invest in our safety, communities and the disadvantaged.

all politics aside, it's a very unappealing site.

I am so pleased that we have big thinker that can over-look the honest and straight-forward grassroots movements.....I guess you take the lying and corrupt ones seriously, like wedemandasolution.

Stop the spin. This is the NAACP's drive. The Democrats are scared and looking desperate. Their even harassing signature gatherers.

If you can't argue the points - beat up on the presentation --- a little pathetic, don't you think?
Finally, the MAJORITY has a voice against the goofs on the fringe.

I Demand A Solution!
And, I don't need to cast a vote to feel "in control," let them take credit. I just want to be able to sit on my porch at night again.

Anon 11:34,

If you don't need to cast a vote to feel "in control" stay home on election day.

What this amounts to is goverment for the people, by the people. I live in Hamilton county. I sit on my porch at night without fear. Why should I pay for your laps in judgement in where you choose to live?

Thirty years ago Detroit thought the ansewer to all their woes was to build more jail space and now people are digging up their dead and moving them elsewhere.

Some people are interested more in "control" than what is right and good for the community.
When people are doing a good job, you don't kick 'em in the a** - you support them.
Thank goodness they had the guts to do what was right.
