How absolutely incredible that neither Leis nor Streicher have done this before -- my goodness, we really are backwoods in so many respects.

The methodology and work product (of individuals not in their official capacities - so private) should be adopted by both police departments and used as an investigative and safety tool to reduce crime and violence.

This is the dumbest thing in the history of politics. This is purly political and has nothing to do with police work. I think they should get out their crystal balls and see who will commit the next murder in Cincinnati.

And bold face guy -- I believe all of those listed (other than Winburn) ARE from your progressive party. Profiling -- you bet! Wrong -- sounds almost the same as the Boston Kennedy consulting Cincinnati wants to do. Round up all known criminals and ask them to just play nice!

What kind of backwoods moron would think that Semper Si and the cheif don't have a list of this nature and one has been around since Arty St. Clair was running around Town?

I'm 100% opposed to this " killers list". It is absurd! Why, the very idea makes me hopping mad!

You can't put folks on a " list" for what might be in their minds, can you? I certainly hope not!

Anyway, if we MUST have a killers list, I demand that I be included in the top 10 - OR else! Muhahah MUAHAHA ! I want TOP billing!

Oh I'm KIDDING!

First, we did it to child molesters.
Then, we did it to drunk drivers.
Now, we are doing it to proven offenders with an unequivocal propensity for violence and possibly murder.

As always, we seek to balance the needs of the many (safety) and the wants of the few (privacy).

We have all known the moral answer for decades now. And, we understand the sacrifice of our rights, in a gradual and ever broadening way, in answering the question thoughtfully.

This isn't racial profiling - it's criminal profiling that should be used in the criminal and community justice arena.

It is ugly, it strikes at our very core; however, the proper use, thereof, is necessary, it is legal and will save lives.

Thus begins pre-crime in Hamilton County. I envision a time when the misuse of this LIST will lead to rushes to judgement and a decrease in the investigative application by police. WE HAVE A LIST, PICK A NAME. Remenace of the NAZI Germany experince. Remember never again.....

Given the actions taken by Mark Foley and their neglect of the foster care system, every single Repugnicant politician should be on a list of potential child abusers/molesters.

Wow!!!! I didn't know Mark Foley had a foster child system.

Anon 12:54- there is Mark Foley and the teenage page, then there is the whole neglect of the foster care system at the state and local level.

Foley- and the coverup engineered by Repugnicants in Congress- show how depraved national repugnicants are. The Marcus Feisel case demonstrated the repugnicants' incompetence towards foster children at the state and local level.

"...WE HAVE A LIST, PICK A NAME..."

If they drive through OTR, they will be unconstitutionally searched just for being in the community !

PATHETIC !

It is beyond classless for that anonymous poster to continue using dead children as props to bash Republicans for everything wrong with the foster care system.

Democrats control the House. Democrats control the Senate. Democrat Ted Strickland was elected Governor. Democrats control the Hamilton County Commission. Where are their proposals?
