As if there's any doubt...
Charlie Winburn's having his first fund-raiser Tuesday night for his Cincinnati City Council campaign. But he's not announcing yet that he's actually running.
Remember, of course, that the Republican Party has already endorsed him as one of five candidates expected to run this fall. Still, Charlie's not announcing yet.
Supporters meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Queen City Club.
The 56-year-old was term-limited off council four years ago and ran unsuccessfully in 2005 for mayor.
"We're in this to win," he said today.
But he's not announcing anything yet.

"Term-limited" is not a verb.
Charlie is in it to lose. That may not be his goal, but it will sure as heck be the outcome.
Add it up: Cincinnati's changing demograhpics plus an extrmeely unpopular President plus an illegal war the unpopular president is fighting plus the resurgent Democratic Party in Ohio, and Coucnil will be 9-0-0 Democratic in 2005! (It would be 8 plus Tarbell but he is retiring.)
Adios Monzel (again)! Don't even think about trying again Child Abuser Malone!
Y'all can join your buddy Phil Heimlich on the unemployment line!
Oh, yeah, Leslie Ghiz, the voters have seen through your act. You should pick a side and stick with it, but the Dems and Charter don't want you and the Repugs are just too desperate anymore.
PATHETIC!
Had enough, move to Kentucky 2007!
