"Kiss my ass" Finney kisses Pepper bye bye

Another Phil Heimlich supporter admits he won't be around to serve under Commissioner-elect David Pepper beginning next month.

"I would not anticipate serving after the first of the year," said attorney Chris Finney, (pictured) an attorney, head of the commissioner-appointed Tax Levy Review Committee and friend and business partner of Heimlich.

During Finney's tenure on the Tax Levy Review Committee, that agency has provided additional scrutiny to special-purpose property taxes -- for services for the elderly, children, mental health and others -- that have saved taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.

But Finney won't end that tenure because of what he's done but rather because of what he said -- and to whom. Finney, a rapid Heimlich supporter, was irked in October when Pepper held a press conference to blast Heimlich for not presiding over a transparent government and for hiring or appointing to public boards his friends or business partners.

Pepper alluded to Finney in his attack. Finney, whose family owns a real estate business with Heimlich's family, attended the Pepper press conference to loudly and angrily confront Pepper.

"You're trying to smear my name because you're a rich f------- asshole. Kiss my ass. Right here," Finney said patting his backside.

He also told Bridget Doherty, Pepper's spokeswoman who was trying to end the incident, she also could put her lips on his behind.

If Finney doesn't resign from the TLRC, he would report, as that committee's head, to the man he called names.

Commissioner Todd Portune, who likely will become the Commission president when fellow Democrat Pepper takes office Jan. 1, has hinted strongly he would not allow that to happen, preferring to remove Finney from the TLRC.

Finney’s comment today came after The Enquirer reported yesterday that two other Heimlich supporters – deputy administrator Ron Roberts and policy analyst Michael Schrimpf -- will resign their Hamilton County jobs at the end of the year before Pepper takes office.

That's Kimball Perry, editorializing on behalf of Phil Heimlich's version of the Drake sell-out. Others, like Todd Portune and David Pepper, have raised serious questions about the handover for pennies on the dollar.

But that's what you get with Kimball Perry. He's like a gumball machine. Put a nickel in and something drops out.

Chris Finney is the attorney who incorporated CityLink. He was working on behalf of Heimlich and the rest of his cronies to bring this disaster to the Cincinnati basin. Finally these guys are voted out, maybe Heimlich,Finney,
Roberts, and company can leave town and take CityLink with them.
Thank you Mr. Finney for showing your true colors before the election.

Who provided the editorial comment regarding "rapid" Heimlich supporter Finney and the Tax Levy Review Committee? Did it come from Finney's own office?

Finney, whose family owns a real estate business with Heimlich's family

Why has the Enquirer repeatedly failed to publish the name of their real estate business, Three Centurions LLC?

Is it true Carl Lindner financed the business? Is the paper trying to keep his name out of the story?

If there was a single damning episode in Heimlich's campaign, Finney's well-documented, profanity-laced exhibition at Pepper's press conference was it.
Christopher Finney may be a talented attorney, but who wants to be associated with his explosive temper and incredible lack of judgement?

Finney the Fink should go go go - it doesn't matter how.
Finney the Fink and his cohorts have done more damage to the Quality of Life in Hamilton County than any of the other political patronage and under-handed tactics ever employed locally by politiians ( absent the Bengals "sweetheart" deal)

Finney the Fink and Tom Brinkman and the rest of the CARE, COAST and TLRC team, did all this damage to schools, the MR/DD, Drake, etc all for the glory of a couple bucks.

Even if the BOCC doesn't get to fire these croonies - the BOCC should publicly condemn their actions and pledge to restore common decency and human dignity for our ELderly who suffered service depletion, the mentally retarded, the sick and the poor.

I suggest that everyone call the Ohio Supreme Courts Discpilinary Council and make a complaint about the behavior of Finney the Fink, citing these news articles as proof, and let them sanction him for his outrageous and criminal conduct of public indecency and disorderly conduct.

Maybe alittle "deprevation" by the BAR will teach Finney the Fink about the Quality of Life.

Where did you get that idea? He's a joke in local legal circles.

Every single Republican public official in Hamilton County, the City of Cincinnati, and every single suburban elected Republican official associated with them should be indicted as an accesssory to Mrcus Feisel's murder.

This is really starting to get ugly. Wow, I really hate politics.

On a brighter note, I burned a few grooves in the James Rhodes Appalachian Highway yesterday. It was nice to spend a little bit of time in Clermont and Hamilton Counties again. I had alot of time to think during the trip and think that maybe it's time to start talking with about 15,000 familien...

Maybe.

Oh, and I want you all to know that candidates who have multi-million dollar campaign funds mean nothing to me. We've been watching multi-million dollar candidates lose elections for years in this district. We will watch them lose again.

Merry Christmas everybody.

It would be great to see the BOCC publicly rebuke Finney for his disrespectful conduct and Heimlich's tolerance, thereof.

Unfortunately, I think the current board has more class in their pinky finger than Heimlich and DeWine have ever demonstrated intheir collective careers, so we will never see a "public rebuke" but maybe we'll at least get to see an investigation of the patronage and trade offs given to do this damage to our community in finances, services and attacking our moral standards of caring for our neighbors.

Let the investigations begin in Hamilton COunty regarding the corrupt political practices of the former regime.

Let the investigations begin

Start with Drake. Portune and Pepper used Heimlich's handover of Drake to the Health Alliance as a campaign issue. Don't forget that Portune was kept out of the negotiations and was denied the opportunity to look at the financial paperwork by attorney Tom Gabelman whose law firm made millions on Heimlich's Banks Project debacle.

Question for anybody out there, please. Did AG Jim Petro have to sign off on the Drake-Health Alliance deal?

If so, that's conflict of interest for both Petro and Heimlich. Could be grounds for invalidation by incoming AG Marc Dann.

Judges !

Hey Finney: Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Its a great day for Hamilton County, getting rid of Finney and Heimlich at the same time.

Judge WInkler is the judge when a case to contest the sale of Drake was filed. Winkler originally scheduled an emegency hearing onthe matter, before he got a call from Heimlich's office, Winkler retracked the emergency hearing status to stop the sale and then dismissed the case with prejudice saying - if you don't like what Heimlich is doing - don't re-elect him.
Great advice Winkie - your head should be on the ballot block next time around -- loser!!!

A letter was sent to JIm Petro AG asking him to execise his discretionary powers to investigate the appropriateness of any transfer of assets of a nonpofit institution to another nonprofit or othewise.
The letter asked Petro to step aside and recuse himself from determining whether or not to exercise those discretionary powers or from doing the review due to his close political and personal affiliation with his forme running mate for the GOvernor's Office.
Petro responded, refusing to recuse himslelf and refusing to exercise his discretionary pwoers, and refusing to investigate a complaint that specifically itemized the cause for investiagtion ( self dealing, bias, conflict of interests, etc).
Petro refused to do anything except decline to review the matter ( on behalf of his good friends DeWhiner and Heimlich and poltical cronnies).
Yes, the matter should be sent to Marc Dann for investigation and the sale should be contravened due to the fact that there are in fact, conflicts of interest, bias, self dealing ( one member of the Drake Boad has now been appointed to the Health ALliance administrative board overseeing Drake [though he's a pretty nice guy- this is still unethical and self dealing})

Hamilton county is lucky to have people like Chris Finney who are willing to donate their time to oversee the spending of our tax dollars. We have a county which has been losing population and business for many years and high taxes is often sited as one of the reasons.

Rather than excoriate and name call a good family man, a collective thank you is in order to Chris Finney, a defender of the taxpayer. Angry vitriol is an inapropriate way to refer to community minded volunteers.

How charming. The Dean thinks nobody will recognize him if he posts anonymously! But it's the same issues and the same posturing queries, again and again.

And again.

And again.

I can't believe that Finney put up a post on how great he thinks he is. I don't think the Hamilton County voters agreed with him. Finney & Heimlich are out and Pepper is in.

Hamilton County will be better off with one more corrupt individual gone...i.e. Chris Finney. The only thing better than Chris Finney being gone from Hamilton County would be if C.O.A.S.T was gone from the schools in Ohio. What Finney, Brinkman, Lykins and others have done to the schools in Southern Ohio, in the name of C.O.A.S.T. is terrible.

It's too bad that Todd Opportune is so insecure that he's willing to dump good policies and good people just because they may be associated with Heimlich. Chris Finney has done a great job of exposing taxpayer-funded ripoffs, such as Drake. He's done his part to keep property tax increases to below the rate of inflation.

Our county government is becoming hopelessly political. It doesn't matter how good you do in your job, if you don't support the right people politically you're not good enough for the Portune regime.

There is no correlation between hindlick and anything good, period !

There should be a complete investigation of the real estate dealings with Heimlich & Finney. Why when it was discovered did they transfer the real estate to their spouses? Did Heimlich use inside knowledge to tip Finney off on certain real estate deals. Was COAST used to hold back property taxes in areas that they owned property? Will somebody write the story so Kimball can put his name on it?
