All about Abramoff
Travis and Margaret Kubale of Pleasant Ridge said they're upset about the economy and the Iraq war - and Abramoff.
Who?
Former Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff plead guilty to using free trips, meals and tickets to sporting events to bribe lawmakers, including former Rep. Bob Ney of Ohio, who plead guilty to the charges last month and resigned his seat last week.
“For Congress and the Senate, there just needs to be more oversight,” Travis Kubale said. “The lobbying reform and what happened with Abramoff. It was appalling.”
“I’m just ready for change. There’s got to be change,” said Margaret Kubale, 54.
The couple said they don't agree about everything, but they sure agreed on who to vote for: Democrats Ted Strickland for governor, Sherrod Brown for the U.S. Senate and John Cranley for the U.S. House.
