Marathongate reaches Montana

The male runner shown crossing the finish line two places in front of U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt in her campaign web site photo of the 1993 Columbus Marathon says he has an original print, and videotape, of the disputed finish. Dennis Hayslett of Montana said he's willing to produce it -- for a price.

Hayslett called the Enquirer today to say he'll sell his photo -- in which the clock apparently reads one second prior to Schmidt's photo -- to the congresswoman's campaign, her write-in opponent Nathan Noy, or any news outlet willing to make an offer. Hayslett wouldn't say whether Schmidt is shown in his photo. In his complaint, Noy claims Schmidt doctored the photo that appears on her web site, or didn't run the 1993 race at all.

Hayslett said he couldn't care less what the Ohio Elections Commission wants since he doesn't live in the Buckeye State. "I'm not an Ohio resident," he said. "I have no vested interest in this, but if somebody wants to purchase the photo. . ."

The elections commission plans a hearing Thursday to consider evidence related to Noy's complaint Schmidt made false statements about the race.

Everyone should eat at Steak-n-Shake this weekend so Nate An-Noy can afford to buy this photo.

Is this extortion?
Can the Montana man be charged with obstruction of justice or does this have to be a federal complaint?
Can he be subpoenaed or does he have to live in Ohio?

Live in Ohio? Nate Noy isn't living in the real world and he was still allowed to start this complaint.

are you stupid anon 4:29? This is a politics blog and this has a lot to do with the politics in the 2nd District right now. I'd much rather hear about Noy's idiot complaint than Wulsin B and moan about a vehicle or debates.

Nate Noy is this whackjob in Ohio thathas decided to harrass Jean Schmidt.

His real intentions are not quite clear, it's possible he's just a Moonbat determined to do his part for Howard Dean, one thing's for sure Noy loves attention.

Like some pervert who exposes himself from underneath his raincoat, Nate Noy has no shame and will probably continue harrassing people until someone with balls sues him into poverty or beyond.

Jean Schmidt will get MY vote if she sues the CRAP out of him!

If she's using the E85 fuel that her car can take then a lot less than you would driving to work Jeffro. I suggest you stop being so biased, any Democrat driving a car with Ethanol capabilities would be praised as if they were the sovereign one come to rid us of global warming. Congresswoman Schmidt's car with E85 would be doing a lot more for our nation than inbred Wulsin's Voyager, when she could EASILY afford an environmentally friendly car.
