New ad from Blackwell: "Taxin' Ted"

From the Ken Blackwell campaign

COLUMBUS – Gubernatorial candidate Ken Blackwell today unveiled his first campaign ad of the general election. Entitled “Taxin’ Ted,” the ad focuses on Congressman and former prison psychologist Ted Strickland’s 31 votes to increase taxes and 52 votes to oppose tax cuts.
Following is the text of the ad:

In the campaign for Governor, watch out Ohio for Taxin’ Ted
Strickland. In Congress, Taxin’ Ted voted 31 times to increase taxes - on gasoline, family income, even social security. Fifty-two times he opposed a tax cut - on married couples, families with children and even medical savings. Taxin’ Ted hasn’t ruled out raising taxes as Governor.Ohio’s already one of the highest taxed states – costing us jobs.We don’t need Taxin’ Ted to make us number one.

Beware of Corrupt Ken!

In the campaign for Governor, watch out Ohio for "Corrupt Ken" Blackwell. In 2004, John Kenneth Blackwell served as the Chief Elections official of Ohio and co-chair of the "Committee to re-elect George W. Bush" during the 2004 election while also serving as Ohio's Secretary of State.

Blackwell was also responsible for the disenfranchisement of thousands of minority voters in the 2004 elections where he discredited provisional ballots, refused to accept ballots unless printed on specific paper weight, failed to provide a sufficient amount of voting machines to certain minority or Democratic precincts, and also was responsible for purchasing the Diebold Electronic Voting Machines while owning Diebold stock at the same time. OOPS!

The Secretary of State oversees the election process in each of Ohio`s 88 counties and he is running for Governor simultaneously!

Nothing to see here folks! Just move along! Nothing to see here!

Please explain why Blackwell has not had the dignity to recuse himself from his position of overseeing the coming election.
It is a travesty to have him in a position of authority - overseeing the outcome of an election - in which he is running for the highest office in the State!

Ted Strickland is a candidate with integrity - Ken Blackwell auctioned his integrity off to the highest bidder - a couple of political parties ago!

Ken Blackwell is one of the greatest leaders of our time. He is a man, with a plan for jobs and progress. He has a plan to help the uninsured, create jobs and rebuilding infrastructure without increasing taxes, and most of all he is for reforming our tax structure to make us competative again. Ted Strickland only plans on creating more offices and government bureaucracy. Vote Smart. Vote for Ken Blackwell.

Dear Ken Blackwell,
Just because you made this commercial, and I think it is really funny, I am voting for Taxin Ted. Here's a tip, don't give your appoinent a nickname, even if its bad. All my friends LOVE Taxin' Ted and will probably vote for him. Maybe you're nickname should, Ken Blackballer. Or Kendra Blackwell. Well I have to go so enjoy this post.
