Schmidt on faulty Delta flight

Rep. Jean Schmidt was one of the 28 passengers on the Delta Airlines flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Washington, D.C., yesterday morning that had to return to the airport because of a report that the cabin had lost pressure.

The flight took off at 7:55 a.m., but pilots received a warning about possible decompression of the cabin, so it returned to the airport in Hebron, Ky., landing at 9:12 a.m. without incident, Delta spokeswoman Gina Laughlin said. There was no loss of cabin pressure, she said.

The flight was canceled and passengers onboard the Boeing 737-200 were put on the next flight at 10:35 a.m.

According to Schmidt spokesman John Ashbrook, the Miami Township Republican was not hurt. She was able to get on a later flight to Washington, and since the House didn’t hold votes until 6:30 p.m. last night, she “didn’t miss a thing,” Ashbrook said.

She should stick to flying on her broom, but I guess that would save taxpayers too much money.

I am surprised McEwen wasn't flying back to Washington too for another round of lobbying.... Probably was going to go help out where Jack left off at with the Indians.

Maybe Carpetbagging Bob McEwen is going back to his $800,000 mansion in Washington. Trying to claim the little $105,000 apartment in Anderson as his primary residence is laughable. Well maybe it is his residence for the primary. Bob McEwen doesn't even live here. He should go back to Fairfax Station, Virginia to his real home. Wait, I just went and looked up his residence. It turns out that is is worth $882,000. Does anybody want to claim he's an Ohioan? Find out for yourself. Google search Bob McEwen and "fairfax station" if you want to know where he really lives. Then, you can visit the official property records website of Fairfax County, Virginia (a DC suburb) at http://icare.fairfaxcounty.gov/Search/GenericSearch.aspx?mode=ADDRESS and learn the truth about Carpetbagging Bob McEwen

Bob McEwen is in touch with what real Americans are concerned about. He is an Ohioan through and through no matter where he decided to establish a career. By the way, if Jean Schmidt is so concerned with the idea of lobbying why is she foaming at the mouth to receive endorsements from some of the most powerful lobbying groups in the nation? P.S. If Taft-like Republicans like Jean Schmidt continue to ruin this state I might move out myself.
