Thor thunders, on the web
Thor Jacobs, Democratic candidate for Ohio’s Second Congressional District, will unveil his campaign website, www.jacobsforcongress.org, today.
“I’m running for Congress because I believe that America not only can do better, but must do better,” said Jacobs. “The rampant corruption in Washington, unprecedented budget deficits, and a highly flawed ‘war on terror’ as exemplified by Iraq, must be addressed with a sense of urgency.”

Instead of thundering on the web, Thor might want to slow down and read the rules regarding disclaimers. He already has ethic violations. Thor, this is not a good start for a candidate. I am sure his opponents have already copied his sight to use it against him.
I am a candidate who Thor has chosen to run against in this election and I want everybody in Hamilton County and all of Southern Ohio to know that there will be zero negative campaigning from me against Thor or any of the other Democrats who choose to run in this race.
Until you've been a candidate for US Congress, until you've looked people in the eye and seen the hope that they have for something better in their lives, you just can't know what a person has to go through to work to be your next Congressman... It is an incredible demand upon a person's life (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)...
Even though Thor has decided to run against me, I will not be the candidate who chooses to degrade any other Democrat. What Thor, Victoria, Jeff, Russ and I have decided to do is an incredible task. Each one of us, in our own way is doing this for you.
May the best candidate win...

The "best" candidate is the individual who will act for the best interest of the people - and that means truth telling, which is rarely "all positive."
