I feel so bad for these poor people. Four years of torment, followed by this news. The Amry never talked striaght to them.

I first met Matt Maupin's father in a parking lot outside of a grocery store in Clermont County. He handed me a pin with his son's picture on it. I have kept it from that day and will always keep it as one of my prized possessions. I promised his father that I would always do good things with my life and the opportunities that I will have in the years to come. His son will never be forgotten by me. I feel so bad for this family. They have suffered the worst possible loss. May God be with them and with their son.

The Bush criministration misled the Maupins for 4 years, toying with their emotions and finally admitting the truth after the Maupins were no longer useful to them. This, after the Repugs' illegal war got him sent there and Halliburton contractors failed to deliver quality supplies to the Army.

Like everything else the Bushies do, this was timed to manipulate the gullible news media and sheeple. Right before the only day of the year the spotlight is on Cincinnati, right before the anniversary of his capture. This way, it fades quickly and well before the campaign heats up. The Bushies want everyone to forget about Matt Maupin as quick as possible. Congress should investigate and subpoena as many members of the Bush Crime Syndicate as possible and find out how long they knew where Matt was, just waiting for the right moment. Every thing the Repugnicant Network of Criminals does is timed to maximize the position of the Gang Of Perverts.

Losing the election isn't enough for them. Jail is the only solution.

6:51 is a classless jerk. This is an inappropriate thread for political hate speech.

We're supposed to be honoring Matt Maupin here. RIP Matt.

Bush lied....Maupin died.
Plus over 4,000 of his fellow soldiers, and over a half million Iraqis.

I was waiting for one of the resident liberals to take the opportunity to turn this into a Bush/War bashing. Anon 6:51, congratulations, you show once again that a good liberal never passes up a good opportunity to be tasteless.

What will all the so-called friends of the Maupins do when Mr. and Mrs. Maupin appear in campaign ads for Barack Obama after the Maupins realize they have been used and abused by Repug political operatives for the past 4 years?

Jeff Capell's hypocritical comments really 'honor' Matt Maupin, don't they?

What did he die for? It wasn't defending our Country. It was for lies told by our President and his cronies, who couldn't wait to start a war with a nation that never attacked us.

Why is Matt Maupin more important than my son, whose remains were found FIFTEEN YEARS later.
The US Army never did a thing for our family. My son served this country also.
Why didn't anyone care about him.
what a country..........
thanks us army................
