Jean's day: run 5 miles, re-elect self
Rep. Jean Schmidt got up at 4 am this morning and ran 5.2 miles before voting.
"I kissed my husband goodbye, who was passing out literature for me, and went to Union Township," she said.
She also hit Montgomery, mass at St. Gertrude and the polls in Madeira.
She arrived in DC at 4:45 and went to bed sick with the flu and a temperature. After a visit to a doctor, she went to vote at the Capitol.
As to how she feels about the election, however, she said: "I feel good. I'm ready for the fall."

The real, burning hatred that's expressed continually here and elsewhere comes from the COAST hacks and the other fringe freaks who seem to literally hate Congresswoman Jean Schmidt. Wise up. When Jean supporters get tough in our comments, we are reacting to the genuine hatred the anti-Jean yahoos
splash all over their blog comments. It's sickening. They hate her because 1) she's a woman, 2) she's not from Hamilton County and 3) she won't kowtow to COAST or any other group of fanatics.
