Wulsin campaign rips on Schmidt

Newsflash - Democrat Victoria Wulsin thinks her likely Republican opponent, Rep. Jean Schmidt, is not as bad as she used to be. Sort of.

Wulsin was in DC today to meet with reporters. Asked if she intended to hammer Schmidt on the congresswoman's much criticized "Cowards cut and run, Marines never do" remark. Wulsin said: "No I don't need to."

Implying... ?

Exactly. So when Wulsin was then asked if, in her opinion, Schmidt was on at least slightly better behavior since her "cut and run" remark and allegations of plagiarizing columns.

Wulsin, surprisingly, weighed in: "I terms of personal behavior, I think she is on better behavior. In terms of professional behavior, and listening to people, I think she's gotten worse."

Wulsin's campaign manager, Josh Levin, then pointed reporters to a Politico story in which Schmidt was called a "squatter" for camping out early to nab a good seat for last night's State of the Union speech.

Levin also mentioned a certain story in The Hill about Schmidt's favorite perfume being Shalimar although she wore Giorgio that day because it "fit the mood of the outfit" she was wearing better.
"She continues to do things that perhaps the people of the district might not see as in their best interest," Levin said.

You don't say.

Josh is right on target with this one. Did anyone else see Jean trying to get her mug shot in with the President last night just before he started his drivel about how great things are. Seriously, she's like a hooker in vegas, everytime she sees her man Bush she get's all freeked out and tries to hug him and grab him. It's really laughable.

I can't wait to cast my vote for Congreswoman Wulsin and President Obama.

Very true, indeed. I just found a new blog that is advertising coverage of the race between Driehaus and Chabot in Ohio's First. Looks like it just went up today.

must have been a slow day at the wulsin campaign?

"You don't say"

Wow Malia. Next time, you should try to hide your left wing/liberal bias a little more than you did when you wrote this puff piece for the Wulsin campaign. I mean, sure, anyone can go to the fec.gov site, search for your name, and find out which far left PACS you donate to, but you don't have to be so blatant about it!

The Enquirer also forgot about Schmidt's reckless disregard for the truth when she spent 16 years claiming to have a college degree she did not, in fact, earn.

Both examples of idiot women who cannot handle power let alone money. If the HamCo derelicts could actually could actually get a decent candidate other than Brinkman, they might be able to shut them both down...

Everyone knows Jean Schmidt is nothing but a rubber-stamp for Bush. But she takes things way too far when she's camping out for a good seat at the State of the Union address.

It's as if Ohio's 2nd district is being represented by an 11-year-old girl hoping for Hannah Montana tickets. How pathetic.

so,uh...I suppose that Dennis Kunich's squatting at last years SOTU address was OK with everyone, right?

Yeah. That's right.Kucinich got there early to get an aisle seat to mug with Bush on camera and shake his hand.

He did it,folks. Now Schmidt is ripped for doing "a Dennis"...? hilarious.

I love it, Wulsin has been on government health care while she is telling her dumb followers she wouldn't accept government health care. She would turn down the Congressional plan while being on the University of Cincinnati's plan. Wait until Black gets a hold of this one. He will destroy her.

if i lived in Cleveland, I'd be embarrassed to have Dennis as my Congressman.
Not every voter who votes against Schmidt is a liberal.
Simply put, she is an embarrassment.

I voted for Rob Portman every time he ran. I voted for Schmidt over Hackett. that's the last time I'll ever vote for her.

In 28 ears of voting, that's the one I'd most like to have back.

Who cares what Dennis Kucinich did last week let alone last year?

Jean,

Your performance at the State of the Union was pathetic and embarrassing. The only time I've ever seen a politician's mouth water more was at the sight of an open checkbook.

We can do so much better. Please resign.

Malia,
is your job title "Gossip Columnist" or "Reporter?" Come on! You'll forever be stuck working for a disappearing newspaper if you keep this crap up.

"you don't say"

so much for a neutral position by the press!!

Malia, why do you bother reporting anything?? You could just stay home and tell us what you think!!

Does the Enquirer also offer equal time for the "not so left leaning" point of veiw or are we just going to be forced to read only one-sided "reporting" on the events in Washington DC ????

Editors please take note !! We are (or should be) entitled to a UNBIASED veiw of the events in the nations capitol not some slanted reporting from a left winger with CLEARLY an angenda that differs from most of the readers of your paper, especially those of us in the second district that supported our commander in chief by over 70 percent in his 2 winns over the democratic challengers!!!

Editors!!! Please rein her in, or offer an alternate view of DC from a NEUTRAL OBSERVER or someone that might report something good that our president is acheiving!!

Malia pay not attention to the personal attacks from the not so'common sense' comments. He/she obviously thinks he's being listened to by the many conservative readers of the Enquirer. What no one has told this older conservative 'common sense' voter is, your party had it's chance and blew it with Bush. We stood behind him in 2004 so he could clean up his mess. Times up. Tune into the national news on occassion (NOT FOX)and you will see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears, we are tired of partisan politics, we're tired of greed, we think government should be small, fair and protect our freedoms and it's citizens. We're no longer interested in wedge issues like, conservative or liberal, white, black or brown, straight or gay, pro choice or pro life. These issues that defined your generation for the past few decades mean nothing to our future.

obammma 08 ??
You said tune into the national news sometime "" NOT FOX""

Why not FOX ?? You mean FOX has got it all wrong & the "National News" has got it all right ???

Get your head out of the sand, national news is further left than Ted Kennedy and the gang put together. They are pulling his strings not vise-versa.

If socialism is your aim, continue down this path. I prefer FREEDOM!!!
We are not free when the government pays most of us, directs our daily lives, wants to be our partner in business when we are sucessful, and keeps giving away more and more to ""HELP"" US!!

Help those that help themselves, I do not want to pay for an able bodied person to sit home while I support them!!

Uh oh, looks like we've struck a nerve with the previous poster and FOX friend. How your able to confuse the facts in front of you is both laughable and pathetic. You can label the current movement of many (many) citizens into the Democrat party however you want, I think you chose this time to use the term socialist. Ok let's disect this, I'm not a socialist unless you mean that I am for small government protecting it's borders and economic strength, I am for fair, equal, and balanced laws, and justice for all citizens, not just those who can aford it. I am for less special interest and more public interest. I am for a government that represents me, my family, and our diverse neighborhood. And last but not least, I am for a goverment that knows when to help and when to stand down and give peace and diplomacy a chance before risking human life. If that's what you meant when you called me a socialist, then fine I agree, but I don't think that is what you meant is it?

i don't get it. Has wulsin already won the primary? this post is about ten steps ahead of itself. rulon ought to cover what's going on in the primary, not what she wants or thinks has already happened.

Malia,
Your mention of Schmidt's perfume is important, and it begs a serious question: Is there any meaningless drivel dispatched to you via Wulsin's campaign that you wouldn't regurgitate on your blog? You work for a paper called the Enquirer. So, as Cincinnatus would have said: inquire! Start by speaking to some Ohio voters about the election. Yes, that would involve leaving your keyboard behind and venturing into the 2nd district. You will discover that Wulsin is very much locked in a close primary with Steve Black. But don't stop there! Report back to us on Black's scent. Is it musky and manly enough to do battle with Wulsin's delicate aroma (is that lilac, or even persimmons?), or even our Giorgio-drenched Bush-squatter? We eagerly await your investigation into these crucial questions.

Fox News is the ONLY station that constantly represents BOTH sides of the issue, CNN and MSNBC are one sided. Those who blast Fox either never has watched it or hates "fair and balance". As a social liberal I enjoy Fox News and the sparring from both political sides.

Malia Rulon consistently ignores Steve Black, who is a strong, serious contender for the 2d District Democratic nomination. Conversely, Rulon's strong bias for Wulsin is to the point that she should insert a disclaimer in her so-called "news" blogs.

Wulsin and Mean Jean are two clowns who got lost from the circus. Both either support or have voted for increases in the gas tax. Both either support or have voted for huge income or sales tax increases. And both continue to embarrass this district with their juvenile behavior that I'd expect from little girls at a Hannah Montana concert.

We need to clean house and elect a Congressman who will get to work for the people.
