Pepper: Hey, thanks

Here is a release from the Pepper campaign:

A heartfelt thank you for all of your support and your vote in yesterday's election!

Special thanks to all of you who passed out literature, worked the polls, made phone calls and put up yard signs—and a special thanks to all those elected officials (Commissioner Portune, former Commissioner Dowlin, Mayor Mark Mallory, Councilmember Jeff Berding , former Reading Mayor Earl Schmidt, North College Mayor Dan Brooks and others across the county) who energetically supported the campaign.

I would like to especially thank and congratulate my opponent, Phil Heimlich, for waging a tough, hard- fought campaign.

As I said in my acceptance speech last night, I am dedicated to bringing this county together so we can move forward. I will work with all parties and all residents to bring about progress on public safety, the Banks, and quality life issues in our many great communities.

Finally, we are planning a Volunteer Thank You Party in the coming weeks. We will let you know the details soon.

Thank you again for making this great victory possible!

Sincerely,

I would like to thank David Pepper for having the courage to run up against the corrupt under curent in Hamilton County government.
And, I would really like to thank John Dowlin. geez, we didn't know how good we had it. Honest. Uncorruptable. Forthright. So much so, that he would abandon party affiliations inorder to do what's best for the public. A review of his career in public service would show that this isn't some kind of "revenge" or "sour grapes" - Dowlin tried his best to serve us in many a controversial issues over the years. Thanks John.
(And I heard that even Bedinghaus stepped in the fray because he was so concerned for the direction this community was going in. - good judgment ( I won't say anything mean).
But most of the thanks goes to the community of voters who came out and made this possible. Thanks for redeeming our value system in conservative SW Ohio.
Now, let's see how far out of the deep hole that's been dug in this county ( state and nation) - these Dems can pull us out of in a reasonable amount of time.

Are we sure who this is from? He forgot to sign it. "Sincerely," is all we got... Maybe it's "Sincerely, Ron Roberts" or "Sincerely, Lori Kurtzman" or "Sincerely, Hank Heimlich" (he's a tax-and-spend Democrat, after all)...

it's legit, it went to Pepper supporters- but Kimball must really have writer's block to think that posting a thank you from Pepper constitutes news. What's next, a log of bathroom breaks by Enquirer staff? Which, I'm guessing, would be frequent since they are so full of Schmidt.
