Its been a lot of fun watching two of the worst Republican Candidates in America locked in kind of a Mothra vs Godzilla death-match these last few months...
But - the tragedy is that Paul Hackett decided not to run again v Ms Schmidt.
He was concerned about "what he had promised the other Democrats" about running in this race.
He might have a given a thought to the thousands of people who sent money to his original campaign last July and August...people who didn't even live in the Midwest who sent in their $50 contributions because of what it meant to the nation as a whole to have an Iraq War vet challenging the current regime.
Best of luck to whichever Democrat does win in the Ohio 2nd
Awwwwwww......too bad, lib. Your guy Hackett was a fraud from the get-go. He may have fooled voters east of Cincinnati, but we knew he was a liberal nutjob. The 2nd district is the most pro-Republican district in Ohio, so no amount of well-wishing from you libs is going to help. Whoever wins the Republican primary wins the 2nd district.
Leave it to the idiots in Cleveland to screw up the election. I can hear the liberal wackjobs now: "It's Bush's, Ken Blackwell's, and Diebold's fault!!!"
