Mallory's chief of staff

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory has appointed Carla Walker to serve as his Chief of Staff. Walker, a Cincinnati native, will serve as senior aide and liaison for the Mayor.

Walker worked ad the U.S. Deputy Field Director for DATA, an international advocacy organization founded by U2 front man Bono, in Washington, D.C. She has extensive governmental and political experience in Ohio and Cincinnati having previously served as the Finance Director for the Ohio Senate Minority Caucus, the Executive Director for the Hamilton County Democratic Party, and the Communications Director and Campaign Manager for former Mayor Roxanne Qualls.

Another one the media missed: Mallory's so-called crime plan was lifted in large part from the work of John Lindner, hired by Luken and paid for by the business interests.

Mallory simply stole it and refused to give any credit to anyone but himself.

Privately, his staff admits it.

I doubt that is true. He could not get away with that and he does not seem like the kind of person to do that. Some people just want to bash him.

The press is well aware of Lindner. It was all over the Enquirer.

You must not have read about the slight of hand game he is playing with his staff.

How is anyone supposed to survive on less than 95K?

Gotta' get those Bengal press releases out.

I doubt it's true as well, at least for the most part. The only ideas that looked like Linder were the good ones--technology/crime mapping and the merger of vice and street corner; those probably came from his report, and the police are moving forward on them. Most of the rest were vague window-dressing or one-shot fixes--someone of Linder's caliber would know those aren't real solutions, but political window-dressing.

Ghiz's comments were on the money. Mallory got $70M more budget than Charlie. Mallory will spend more and more and produce less and less. Face it people......we are in for an expensive 4 years under this empty suit.
