Pepper's police, fire supporters consider future

Keith Fangman, vice president and spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police, which endorsed David Pepper: "Although we are concerned with (Mark) Mallory's opposition to building a new jail and his belief that we do not need more Cincinnati police officers and his opposition to Tasers, we are hopeful that he will at least reach out to our police officers in the belief that we can have a productive relationship with Mayor Mallory.''

Joe Diebold,
president of the Cincinnati Fire Fighters Local 48, which also endorsed Pepper, said: "David's a friend of ours. We've worked with him for the past four years. He has supported firefighter issues. He would've been good for this city, and that's why we endorsed him.''

As his party wound down, Pepper continued to speak with reporters about the loss. He said he and his supporters would look at individual ward and precinct results Wednesday to see what sent the election Mallory's way.

"That's something for the pundits to figure out,'' he said. "As I look back, I wouldn't have done anything differently. We had a great team, we had a great strategy.''

Pepper's decision to play the race card did him mostly harm. It was sad to see really.

Where is Greg Lost in No Lands man ?

"Now" Mallory controls the camera. I wonder if he'll start watching white-eee, no endorsement copeee, just like the spy cameras watch the citizens of his city.

I'm not one to say I old you so :

"but,"

"Crybaby Pepper"

Rather than "Shoot the Messenger" and disconnect the lines of communication (taken off the email list, etc.)perhaps you should "look within yourself" and hear the "message."

"Nate" was the clear "Victor."

As well as you know "Who."

lol, lol, lol

maybe..pepper you should attempt not being such a smug SOB...there's something the pundits can tell you.
and if you're going to lie in an add- at least attempt to make it believable..mark mallory doesnt want to crack down on meth labs and wants the mayor to run schools... at least attempt to make it a concievable lie..thats like saying..mark mallory wants to propose a law that would force everyone to wear crack pipes on their heads for hats and legislate all future pawn shop prices...sheesh..come on now

OFC has a point, Pepper doesn't want 7 year olds tased, David Pepper was just the deciding vote in telling Fangman & Company, that tasing 7-10 year olds is okay.

People, don't be confused.

OFC

Last time I checked you are 1 person with one vote. In the end, your vote meant zilch-zip-ZERO (since you casted your vote for a loser), and still only measured up to 1 vote.

Your 1 vote did not almost cost Mallory the election, considering there were nearly 3000 people each with 1 vote who handed Mallory the election. Duh!
